- Angels! In todays chivalry 2 gameplay we are using the rapier on darkforest in first person. And my god does the rapier just melt people on the footman class, If you play around the stabs you kill super fast. Rapier is one of my favorite weapons for the outplay potential in chiv 2.

Man it's amazing to see the risks you can take and avoid with such a low ping and no stuttering. I get 60 - 90 ping, and I'm constantly getting hit by swings that are clearly to the side of me because I've dodged out of the way. Dodging is basically pointless for me.

I couldn't agree more on the body blocking! Great gameplay, I am not the greatest with the Rapier but it is sure fun.
Yeah same. I've never had so much team damage and TK's. Plus its 50/50 as to whether you are revived or not. A bit like your game here, I've seen the champion, duke, etc die in less than a minute sometimes lol its kinda funny, but could get boring/annoying. Its great to have an influx of players and grow the player base, 100%. It's just sooo many newbies all at once is a bit much haha a trickle would've been better, not a torrent. I'm having a mixture of fun and frustration at times. But it is what it is. Hopefully it will settle down in the next month or so.

Looking for rapier like trying to find a needle in the haystack - good luck with it . Its one of these weapons that are more annoying than dangerous but you managed to drop a 100+ bomb in 1st person nice

Sometimes teammates are the bigger threat theese days. All the new players bodyblocking, jumping into strikes like suicidal lemmings and then smacking u with their horizontal strikes.
I've been playing for a few days and pretty sure I've hit my teammates more than enemies at this point

Is the rapier still that fast? Iam kinda new to the game and played all the time as engineer. Trying man at arms atm and would like to master the rapier but I still struggle to read the opponents and do good counters and stuff. First person better for playing with short weapons then third person?

Both honestly, I space out my game sessions to avoid this I’ll play 2-3 times a week. And try to play other games other nights.

I'm surprised that you don't parry arrows and crossbow bolts in your videos. Which you can do. I've even survived a ballista bolt before because it was mid perfect parry on someone else.

Main reason why I know I'll never be good at this game is my ping it's always 60 and every time I dodge they still hit crouching doesn't work either even though I want to use the Rapier I know it mainly relies on dodging so I can't use it properly.
60 is very playable
@@StridahsAngels sometimes it reaches 110 and I play on console and recently they added same attack faint but made it really uncomfortable to pull out because you need to press the attack trigger twice (it's annoying because sometimes when you try to do a heavy attack for some reason the game detects it as if you pressed it twice and does a faint, honestly it was much more comfortable just having to do slash-block-slash in order to do a slash to slash faint it also feels like when you try fainting on console unless you do it in the first milliseconds of the attack it doesn't work combine that with the fact that jab and crouch are the same button and the fact that you can't change the controls. I tried the game on my friend's PC and it honestly feels easier to control.
