- Angels! In todays Chivalry 2 gameplays we are using he poleaxe on the knight officer and you guys already know it will be a slaughter. I am in first person on pc and going on a wild 30+ kill streak. Enjoy the chiv 2 gameplay. Lionspire is no match for the masons!

Poleaxe would be meta in a simulator medieval game. Thing was a beast back in the day.
Yeah my chat has told me it would be most used knight weapon in real combat
I used this weapon when I was leveling up my knight on a whim. The first TD match I got 68 takedowns and 34 kill. It slaps sometimes.

I do like the pole axe. Looks so sexy, hits hard enough, is long enough, fast enough and also can be dragged. What I like to do with it a lot is drag over heads and faint overheads. A lot of people just dont respect or understand range and walk their heads into them. Also the stabs are really nice and extra tool against them annoying spear users ( only dangeorus if they are teaming up with somebody else against you ).
That backstabbing spree at 5 min mark was epic! I know which weapon I'm running today.

Historically accurate chad playing with poleaxe
This thing feels surprisingly like a longsword, they both have some really quick windup, and mainly rely on overheads and stabs to do damage. Also, their specials are fast enough to be more useable than most other weapons.

Ive put some time in with it, but the one thing I don't like is the short range of the overhead. It should have better range really.

@@StridahsAngels Don't get me wrong I like using it I just miss a lot of the overheads bc it feels like the weapon is longer than the attack. I like running up on people and feinting in to heavy stabs when they are attacking my team mates. I get so many kills doing that with the Longsword and Halberd too.
Yesterday I had some of the best matches ever with the Longsword then today idk I just sucked real bad. I think a lot of it is the Vanguards who dodge out of range every single time and all the new guys who just hold block. I got real pissed off then I played even worse. Then I realized my anger would be the perfect fuel for a gigantic weapon and now I'm doing good again. It's like you have to bait them in to letting go of block with a slow weapon. I've been using the Executioner and Highland Sword. I don't like using kicks so that's what I do now. You should do a video for killing the guys who dodge all the time I used to have it down, but I can't seem to get it anymore without a huge weapon.

It low key kinda slaps
I started using it when I started purely because its what historical knights would usually pick to take to battle, but then realized its a monster of a weapon for those who would learn its effective use. I was surprised to see almost nobody using it, but that's their loss and my gain.
It does less damage than one handed axe, fuck that
