- This video describes three methods that I have found to keep the AirPods from just falling out of my ears. AirPods are very cool, sound pretty good, are very compact, and have great features.

Great suggestions. I realized after watching you if I move my head more, it actually prevents the AirPods from getting too wet and slipping out.

Ordered Soft Silicone as kindly advised. Once too many times for Bud to fall in toilet . Such a sensible unbiased solution to this expensive problem .
Can’t finish watching yet. You’re right, they sound more decent than most people condemn. I keep one always in my pocket when going out, even I have Bose or Sennheiser always in my bag. And another pair on my desk so I can get a quick grab whenever I need. They’re so tiny and sleek, adding no burden. Perfect! 👌🏼

Robert, thank you very much for your video. I am also one of those unfortunate 10%’er that AirPods do not stay in my ear. They fit good enough if I take a phone call sitting down but for music too much sound exits the ear. I have about a half dozen different ear hooks that all work great but it is a pain putting them on and off but I have gotten used to it over the past two years. I put the AirPod case into my small coin pocket of my jeans and the hooks in my pocket. Works for me but I am going to give your silicone method a try. I thought I had seen everything so thank you for sharing!!

This video got me thinking... I just tried thread tape/plumbers tape and it works really well. Avoid all the holes etc but it gives just enough friction to keep a good hold.

Thank you for the great video. 1st solution is best. If the residue from the moleskin or silicone get in your ear canal your in trouble. Better safe than sorry. Mine fit for the most part so it's not a real problem.

@Curtis Pazar thanks for your comment. I ended up getting the Air Pods Pro when they came out and they resolved all of my issues. How do the 3 gen work?
I have a tip you should look for some silicone covers for the airpods some of them are really gripy and the also fit in the case!! I feel like those will work way better for you!
@trickshot_gaming thanks for the tip I appreciate it. I tried several different thin covers but none of them worked for me, the inside of my ear is too big for any of them. If they fit in the case, they r too small for me.
I resolved the issue permanently by switching to the Powerbeats Pro. I still need to do a video on them.

I Got The AHA STYLE EarHooks And Now The Bass Is Even Better & They Sound Louder At Lower Volume & They Stay Put With No Pain In My Ear Canal .
Is AHA Style EarHooks (Amazon Choice Large & Small) the same as AirHoox that Robert is talking about? (Amazon) Large & Small.?

Hi Robert Philips great video tomorrow I’m getting some AirPods but I think my ears are to small what do I do?
@DARIS ... haha, you got me on that one. If your ears are too small for the AirPods I guess your best option is to take the AirPods back and try something else. I like the Bose in-ear buds, they sound great and have multiple ear tips for different size ears. The biggest problem with them is that the audio CZcams video tends to lag just a bit so it’s a little awkward. I’m using the PowerBeats Pro as my daily earbuds and really like them. They are more expensive than many other options though. Let me know what you choose.

i’m struggling with Them making my ears itchy and kinda moist. i’m not sure if it’s the bass that causes it.. i just ordered attachments from amazon. hopefully that works.
Sorry for the delay, just saw this. I have not heard of them making ears sweaty or itchy. Did the attachments work? I ended up getting the AirPods Pro and it fixed all of my issues

@Ascente the wax lasted better than the dots. Dots lasted a few days to a week and the wax lasted 1 to 2 weeks.

i just bought airpods pro but they completely block my ears it's feeling awful i tried all the tips nothing is right .. they don't fall but my ears are clogged i even wonder if i have it put correctly (sorry for my English I'm french)
@EVA thank you for sharing your experience, I'm so sorry to hear about your challenges with AirPod Pro. I got them it they resolved all of my issues, I love them and always carry them with me. Everyones ears are different so if they don't fit you or feel good, you might see if you can take them back. There are lots of other options out there. I'm not sure what is available in France but I found the Bose ear bud a bit bulky but very comfortable with a good sound.
I never use earbuds at all, wireless or not. But i recently got my first pair and im having the worst time trying to keep them in my ear.
@Ethan Hinson yeah, as I mentioned in my video, I had the same issue. All of my issues with the AirPods were resolved when I purchased the AirPods Pro. $100 US more to fix the issue. For me it was worth it.
If the AirPods keep falling out of your ears you’ll need to use one of the options I presented or maybe you can find/come up with another, or return them. They will just frustrate you otherwise or you will loose one of them and be mad. When I still had the AirPods I ended up used the PodHoox with the inner tube most. It was a hassle to put them on and take them off but I didn’t have to clean and replace the wax or mole skin buttons each week. If you think of it, let me know what you end up doing.
Buy a portable pill case from Amazon. They work well in keeping the silicone inserts

my hack is.. use rubber band,
wait! it's a special type of knot! i promise your ears won't hurt so only the tension is on the airpods themselves you won't even feel the rubber band at all..
find a rubberband, put an airpod through and let it hang.. (do a bowline)
fold a simple p on one singular string, then flip like a coin the simple p like .. pull out that line through the p and stretch and tighten the bigger hole, hang the bigger hole up around and below onto your ear (I only discovered this a few minutes ago!) I'm not sure why not many people have thought this up yet 👌

@@robertphillips4155 it is like a rubber if you get it right you wont have to keep reapplying. I bought some at target but dont have airpods. Going back to an iPhone in a couple months. So I assume I'll be getting airpods soon. I will let you know if I try this out.
mine fell out of my ear when I was having a pee and fell in the toilet. I had to put my hand in there and retrieve it (too much information, maybe). On the plus side I rinsed it immediately under the tap and then dried it out with a fan and it still worked fine and has done a year since. quality
One of my fears actually happened to you! Yech. I got the PowerBeats Pro a couple of weeks ago and it fixes everything for me. I’ll do a review on them shortly.

They stay in the ear unless you do something crazy like stand or walk. My remedy is to go 4X4 ; this means I put the earbuds upside down in the opposite ears. The sound is still great and the earbuds stay put, even during cardio.
thanks for your reply and suggestion. I did try them upside down didn’t work for me. They always fell out. But it does work with some people.
How much would the China manufacturer cost be to give some lil rubber stickies to make them fit..I’m bout to botch some bandaids and see what happens

They never hurt my ears so I can’t say for sure but if I were to guess, if the AirPod design hurts your ears, I suspect that none of these options will help. it’s just a guess though.
