This is stupid and wrong. Not all marathons are the same. A full marathon is 26.2 miles or 42.195 kilometers. A half marathon is exactly half the distance of a full marathon.
Distance is relative to elevation or topography. Basically, it’s harder to run a 26.2 mile marathon if it’s uphill. So, not all marathons will be the same. There are also other factors such as temperature and humidity that may hinder performance.
And yet they're the same measure of distance... It doesn't matter what other variables are...

A half maraphon is NOT a maraphon as it is half the distance.

@@AnEntityBrowsingYT Never did I say that the distance changed. All I said is the variables matter. For example if you run a marathon that's entirely uphill at a 10% or greater incline, then that is going to be a significant challenge compared to a marathon at a 10% decline. Does that help you understand?
