Well I’m 52 and finally asking for help because I cannot manage my ADHD plus take on perimenopause/menopause symptoms any longer. April 15th is my appointment and I’m looking forward to life-ing again…right now I’ve spiraled and it’s out of control. The only thing that makes sense and keeps me going is my dog…even she side eyes me like hey focus 🤣🤣🤣 you’re taking me on a walk remember.

Yup 💯. When I took it, I did tweek. But I was slowed way down. Which helped me focus, but after a few years, it just made me like a zombie. Also side effects of aggression, insomnia, and even auditory hallucinations 😮😊 So I I found other ways to cope rather amphetamine salts

I was diagnosed with “severe ADHD”. I was on high doses of Adderall. Honestly, it changed me as a person. My husband didn't recognize me; he wanted nothing from me. It almost ruined my marriage bc I didn't care about ANYTHING but cleaning like a tweaker. I made a HUGE mess out of nothing, and it took all day to reorganize and clean. I got pregnant and immediately stopped. I never went back on it, and I learned to “control” my “severe ADHD.” Come to find out, I was just stressing and grieving from losing my older brother. I did everything and anything not to have alone time. I didn't want to think of his passing. Thank goodness those days are long gone.

Americans are the largest population on earth of drugs, legal and illegal. Along with all the preservatives and harmful chemicals in food, we are truly not in a good place. As someone who 100% does not have ADHD.... I do this all the damn time. Mine is just extreme overwhelm, burn out, and debilitating mental load. I'm in a room and am suddenly flooded with every single thing I've wanted to do in the room for the last week that I haven't had one second to even try to do. And I'm convinced I can do it all at once.
