A few years ago, I had the privilege of spending time with one of the couples who forced Vermont to create the first-in-the-country civil union system that existed before same-sex marriage. They definitely appreciated the support from then-Congressman Sanders for their efforts. And they're still happily married, which is more than can be said for many opposite-sex couples I've known over the years.

A few years ago, I had the privilege of spending time with one of the couples who forced Vermont to create the first-in-the-country civil union system that existed before same-sex marriage. They definitely appreciated the support from then-Congressman Sanders for their efforts. And they're still happily married, which is more than can be said for many opposite-sex couples I've known over the years.
He still is ways ahead of society, but its gonna be a time, when the harvest of his ideas will let this country become a better and fairer place.

Now, our country is literally falling apart. You are fine with billion dollar businesses not pay ANY taxes? You are okay with the top 1% and businesses getting tax breaks? Trickle down economics does not work, it has been proven, but the GOP still perpetuate that lie.
