- Darren and friends from Stray Dog Classics in Brooklyn NY go to pick up three 1970's Brazilian Sports cars from the port and attempt to drive them back to Brooklyn in the freezing cold during rush hour. Featuring a yellow 1974 VW SP2, a red 1975 Puma 1600 GTE coupe and a yellow 1978 Puma 1600 convertible.
Hey guys, congratulations from Brazil. Those car are true legends here in Brazil. So, i really suggest that you guys to take a look at the brand called Miura. The story is pretty much the same of those cars on video but the design was inspired by Lamborghini. Take care and enjoy the ride 😊
We know the Miura - looked at those too!
@@straydogclassicshi, i need to send a car too, cam a get thevreferal of the company you used? How much they charge for the all process? Thanks
Congratulations! I am officially an SP2 owner and in the middle of the importing process. So excited! Her new home will be here in Oregon :) We LOVE our VW's!!
how much can i buy one for?
What a great randon video
Perhaps the coolest auto related name and logo I’ve ever seen
Very nice my friends ! Here in Brazil they are beloved cars from a “more romantic” era !
Very attractive cars
This is what happens when you don’t have an amigo down in Brazil to check your cars out for you.
Three guys in matching Adidas sweatsuits!! RunDMC 2.0!! 😂🤣😂 This is the best!!
I'm from Brazil, and I love Pumas... It's closer as it gets to a "poor brazillian guy" to a Porsche XD
I saw a couple of these at a car show in Gravata, PE last October. I thought they were very cool but I think to own (and drive) one you need a good mechanic LOL.
Hello from Brazil! Amazing vídeo and beautiful cars!😍😍😍 Could it be that this engine failure is due to the fuel? Gasoline here is not the same as in the US....
Very cool. I love the SP2. Gorgeous car
Guys seem really happy with those toys .
Pretty cool!
Love this story of 3 guys and these amazing cars! The SP2 has been a favourite of mine for over 20 years. Yet to see one in Oz!
Good choise on the Puma. But I'm beased 😂
such cool looking cars
The SP2 was the car of my dreams when I was a kid. However, it's only a "fun car". It is hideously noisy, very slow, burns a lot of fuel (I think it makes 8 km per litre, which is less than 19 mpg) and has very short mileage due to its small fuel tank. If I remember correctly, its autonomy was just over 200 km (125 miles). But, boy, how cute this car is. Especially the yllow ones. You hit jackpot.
Congrats, i’m a Puma GTE 1978 owner
If you guys likes that you'll love the Ford Landau and the opala.
Esse carro era meu aqui no Brasil! Rsrs.
a good thing is bring the triad the VW SP2, GM OPALA 6 Cilinder, and a Ford MAVERICK V8 , all 70's era.
😍😍😍
About to follow in your footsteps and get a Puma. Would love to connect and IG and talk to you about the process.
SP2 uses 1700 engine like vw 412 and porsche 914
Nice caras
Hey I'd like to import a car from Brazil, which importer/exporter did you use? I prefer to do it myself as the process isn't that difficult as I have experience with importing from Japan.
Ok, ok...Next time try some GMB Puma. Six on line GM engine. High or low front , does not matter. Four or five gears.... rear traction. That's fun...no ADA's até all😂
O Puma amarelo e o SP2 precisam regular os carburadores.
They sound like stray dogs... lulz
