The XJ220 was on display in Prague for a while,And it's Price was ... for the lack of a more adequate term ... insane 24 million CZK at the time, translating to 500 000 £ in the 90ies due to the exchange rate. Which Is, again, totally insane. And yes, IT was already confirmed IT would never get thé V12 And would be stuck with V6 instead.

I've been thinking that they should use the bodystyle with a few updates to things like the squared tail-lights, updated engine technological
advancements such as superchargers, etc., update interior functionality for comfort and immersion in a sort of symbiotic feeling like being "one" with the car...if they keep the bodystyle with a few tweaks in more modern design to rear lights and more refined interior design and use updated tech methods for the engine and keep it mid-engine it would probably do really well provided the economy recovers and they offer it in a vast array of colors as well as developing additional body modifications for functionality variables...more reliablity for higher pricepoints are generally required if a company hopes to make a generous profit from such a product. Superchargers, twin turbos cumulative spool boosting (one lower end start the other at mid rpm to high) for example...V-8, V-6, V-10, V or W12 and the same for 16s with quad turbo options, and possible additional electric motors on front end for build up acceleration improvement in 0-60mph.

The 1990s were a rough period economically and genuine customers for such cars were very rare (more speculators than real purchasers).
Even the McLaren F1 failed to meet its sales targets.
With respect to the XJ220, there were a huge number of problems.
The major initial problem was clearly the V12. It has always been a low efficiency boat anchor. At its best, the V12 engine was producing under 60 bhp per litre in road format (less than a MGB engine which was designed in the 1950s). What were they even thinking announcing this car with this engine ?
It was at this point that the XJ220 should have stopped.

I was in contact with Jim Randle during 2006 and 2007 and he confirmed and added more detail to what I thought went wrong - Jaguar showed a V12-powered supercar and then delivered a V6 AND, beside that, they brought out the Jaguar XJR-15 at almost the same time as the XJ220 which just confused consumers.
Jim added that Tom Walkinshaw basically tricked Jaguar engineers into abandoning the V12 in favour of a V6 because he was secretly developing his own car at the time with the V12 in it - yes - the XJR-15 was Tom Walkinshaw's baby and he essentially sabotaged the XJ220 project for selfish reasons.
How would you feel if you were promised a world-beating V12 Ferrari and, after leaving a chunky deposit and waiting for it to be developed, you found out the 12 had been scrapped in favour of a V6? And that is precisely how Jaguar customers felt - CHEATED.
Supercars of this calibre need at least 12 cylinders.

Those were the days that wedge designs were out, and everything had to be round.
I can't judge the technical performances nor the comfort of the interior (but who makes such silly mistakes as doors that don't open sufficiently ?), however, I can't say I'm in love with the design of the car. It's "not bad", but it leaves me lukewarm at best, depending on which colour the car got (I wasn't a fan of the Bugatti either). The Jag simply looked too long for a production model, it probably rarely fitted a parking lot. The design simply lacks that "timeless" quality of the best designed cars. It looks "terribly" 1990's, while for example the somewhat forgotten "baby Countach", the Bravo still looks modern 50 years after its introduction. A combination of straight lines and curves, some pinch lines here and there without overdoing it work better than this "everything round" approach. I'd give the design not more than a 7/10, the Bravo 8,5 to 9, just like the McLaren F1
