The effect of them all together is amazing. Like Spiff's character is a legitimately impressive bit of CG and that just makes it all the funnier, that he's interacting with "Steven Bigsword".
The CG was *so cool*. I loved the design and effect!!
Also I love how when I first saw the puppet I just thought " hobo "

First time we saw Zed (the dwarf king) he was being puppeteered by the Hobo. I propose the Hobo is lying under the table during the discussions.
to be fair any timeline fictional or otherwise gets more complex over time. even when it manages to self terminate through shear force of stupid.
He's only a god if he defends those beacons. That said, he's got a pretty good shot as long as he remembered the spell jammers.
Despite being scripted for a monotone part, Spiff's voice acting for this is surprisingly fitting. Really brings a lot to the role, I enjoyed it very much. Loved his physical acting too. Great work from everyone.
I need a puppet hobo voice pack for every game now.

i was so impressed with how great a voice spiff was doing for the puppet that i missed who he was ACTUALLY voicing. to be fair, The Dank Lord Dwarfmister Stephan Big Sword of the Most High Underdwarves is much closer to his playstyle.

This captures the dichotomy between Wizard Kings and Champions very well, I think.

Let's not kid ourselves, that army would just suddenly manifest, have absolutely broken stats, and contain so many units that it can only be expressed in exponential notation. And it would be able to defeat every army and conquer every city on the map within a single turn. Because the only thing more powerful than the Spiffing Brit is Spiff when he's annoyed.
