"I was kidnapped. They raped me. They sodomized me."

Caroline, a human trafficking survivor, was exploited, mistreated and exposed to sexual violence, and as a consequence she got pregnant. Sadly on a boat crossing the Mediterranean, she had a miscarriage, and the story continues.
Many vulnerable women and girls from Africa are preyed upon by smugglers who promise to take them to Europe to get a better life. They say the journey is fast and easy. But is this the case? Caroline left Nigeria because her boyfriend tricked her by promising a job in a supermarket abroad.
During the dangerous journey through Libya and the Sahara Desert, she was kidnapped by traffickers and pimps and later detained in Libya. Did she find light at the end of this very dark tunnel? Well, just watch! Share and comment and like.
