Hi Danni! For the holidays i bake brownies in the mini muffin trays and as they are coming out i stick a mint kiss or andes candy in while they're soft and hot. My nieces hubby's are chocolate lovers and loved the mint in the dark brownies.

The goodwill policy is anything over 50 dollars or collected is sent to online sales to decide if it's worth selling online.
I always felt that the counters when you have to wait for service should have a number system or something in place to save on customer conflict for both the clerk & the customer.
If I’m first waiting in line for a long time and someone comes along I really don’t have a problem telling the worker kindly that I was indeed there first. I don’t see anything wrong with standing my ground in a kind way. But that’s just me.
I do the same. There are lots of times I let others go before me. People are absolutely without morals.

Peel and stick wallpaper is in right now. Old fashioned installation (glue) is not so much unless professionally installed high end wallpaper.

I use wallpaper as drawer and cabinet shelf liner. Just Ute to measure and lay it down. I don’t paste glue it down. My dishes love it. LOL

Not too long ago a woman I see often out thrifting at my favorite store tried to grab something out of my hands 😮 I held on tightly and she said oh are you getting that? I said yes ma’am it’s in my hands and even if I weren’t you shouldn’t be grabbing out of someone’s hands. She said well around here you gotta get it when you see it. Lol the audacity 😳
Mini muffin tins are awesome to make brownies in = they take half the time and you end up with wonderful bite size chocolate heaven!

Every time I go thrifting I have a problem with rude people 🙄 sometimes I will say something and adress the issue most times I just remember to walk in Gods love . Your a very loving person and very patience with people. Love your fines today

Hi Danni! Don't worry, I know a lot about jewelry and the cowboy wasn't good. Jewelry people in my area are unbelievably selfish and aggressive. If I were you, I would do a camera shot of the jewelry case but not talk about it. Just show the viewers what you got later. And stand next to the piece you want the most. Jewelry is a whole different animal.

@@tylerbean542 It is unreal. I've had people at the jewelry counter ask me a dozen times if I'm sure I want the jewelry in my hands. And those are the nicer people. I've also learned not to put jewelry on hold. One time someone impersonated me and bought the jewelry I had picked out. (It had my name on it.) So when I went to pay it was gone. Dawn said the same thing happened to her. She advised her viewers to always pay for jewelry right away and not put it on hold. And I'd better not discuss my experiences at estate sales LOL.

Here in Florida Goodwill sells big boxes of stuff, especially big ticket brands when it comes to clothing. If you go to the bins what it is in there is usually the mall or cheap brands. In Orlando they even have the e-commerce department beside the outlet. 😢😢😢

Hey Danni you may want to pick up all the ducks it’s a trend with people who drive jeeps to give a rubber duck to another Jeep driver they have a tray under there mirrors to leave the ducks. This is very popular on the east coast.
Loved seeing that Kromex tray! Right behind the copper and glass carafe. My mom had the carafe once upon a time but I like the chrome stuff!
Sometimes they call their friends and tell them to come grab jewelry. Maybe that's why you where waiting so long. The garnet triple strand was way better than the cowboy anyway!

That happened to me after waiting my turn a long time at the jewelry counter in a thrift store. I was so upset. I ended up bursting into tears after saying all the same things that you did. Then I said I'm just going to go home and left in tears. You handled it much better than I.

I know what you mean about rude people... I deal with a lot at my Goodwills. They see me standing there looking at something and they swoop in and crowd me or block the aisles. I just smile and patiently wait for them to move. You had some awesome finds. Noah looks so handsome as always

I agree, it catches you off guard but sometimes you can clear your throat and just say politely “excuse me, I’m sorry, but I was first in-line and have been waiting here for some time.” I think you can be polite and still stand your ground. I agree nothing in that case was worth fighting for, but I think you could call their bluff-the clerk may not know who was there first.

The marble fruit bowl is cool
There are "hoverflies" everywhere. I see an old woman (she's probably not much older than I 😂) at the local flea markets who hunches so close over the jewelry that nobody can even get a glimpse. Might be a good idea to not point out pieces but just do a general sweep of the jewelry, then film the individual pieces as they are taken out of the case. People with the "she's not gonna get THAT piece of jewelry" attitude may become disinterested.
hi. the little rubber duckies are a thing within the JEEP community. If you own a jeep and are at a gathering of like jeep owners, and you see a jeep you find attractive or impressive, you might leave a rubber duckie on its hood. This lets the owner know someone found their jeep interesting!
The cat and butterfly bowl was sandblasted. The cats and butterflies were first covered with stickers/ masking tape, and then the whole thing was blasted with the sand gun. Very cool bowl!

So glad you got the flowers. They look awesome on a wall, and glued to wood lids. I recycle my candle glass with wood lids to make pretty containers for the craft room, office, or bathroom storage.

Danni, suggestion. When there’s a crowd around the jewelry case, don’t narrate. Do that after they pull out the pieces for you. That way no one can swoop in and grab the pieces you were interested in. 👍🏻🐢

I’m with you about rude people. After paying for a ticket upgrade on Southwest, a woman cut line to be with her friend and the ticket agent allowed her to do it! I’m not sure who I was with whom I most aggravated!

I. used to hang wallpaper for a living their is a lot of profit in that if you’re good at it, it can make you some good money yes wallpaper is coming back not that I want to hang it again because it is difficult and I’m too old for this now, but don’t ever buy grass class because you can see every seam and people don’t understand that when they buy it because they like it but trust me it is not pretty hung. The problem with wallpaper is it cost more to hang it than it does to buy it and you do have to know how to measure to get the correct amount. And grass cloth is very mid century. I love that little buggy it is very cute.

I had someone snatch jewelry out of my hand and say " I was here 1st" I just left.
The thrift stores near me are so frustrating. People come into the store so fast and zoom up and down the aisles by you as fast as they can to get the good stuff. If they find nothing they zoom back out the door. Makes me so frustrated!!!!!
