- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

There wasn't actually a toll plaza there. What you are seeing is the former Cove Valley service plaza. The things that look like toll lanes were actually gas pump islands. I've gone through that tunnel (Sideling Hill) before but never through the plenum, so I really enjoyed seeing this! Thank you for taking us along!
Service plaza...that's an old timey phrase
I was watching one of Midwest Magic Cleaning's recent videos (he cleans hoarded houses in his area), and he said he really enjoys all of Post 10's videos. In fact, he asked us - those of us who watch both of you - to tell you that. :-)
It means a lot to him but why not him come on the channel and say so himself?
Saw that too!
Is that ol' "Post10 watching" Johnny over there. Haha. It's always interesting when your favorite channels cross paths. Happens a lot with "guitar youtube" which I follow quite a bit.
@marcoe7097 he does and has reached out to @post10 to collab but they haven't been able to connect. Why not have fans of both help out? 😉
Hi, I was watching Midwest cleaning and he asked everyone to stop in and say hello to you because he is a hugh fan. Sooo….hello! I am glad he recommended your channel because I enjoyed watching your video and plan on watching more😊
You are the most unique, brave, and educated young man. Bravo.
Midwest Magic Cleaning asked us to say hello! 👋
It's so nice you bring you're girlfriend along at least she enjoys the view too
Authorities: "Get special permission to enter the plenum levels."
Post: [Proceeds to go into the plenum levels] 😂🤣
Well they should have made it more clear lol I don't even know what that word meant
@@post.10 I don't blame you honestly. I don't know why they'd make it intentionally difficult when they could've just said "upper levels" or something like that.
@@post.10 Yeah not sure why they chose to use the technical industry term for ventilation when not many people would know that
In building construction, a plenum (pronounced PLEH-nuhm, from Latin meaning full) is a separate space provided for air circulation for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning.
Awesome Tour!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Which is where he walked through!
@@frankbaird9672 Yeah, but he is a lot more trained in safety than normal everyday people.👍
Welcome to the Keystone State! It’s my home state. I have been through that Double tunnel to and from Pittsburgh. I took Greyhound and Mega Bus on separate trips. The scenery is even more beautiful with Green Leaves over the summer and fall colors of course in autumn. *Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful*
I did that very trip once and it was exquisite
Happy you found someone new man, i hope it works out 👊
Midwest Magic Cleaning channel wants to meet you. You’re all our hero. He’s been following you since you’re aquarium days.
Love seeing this area again!
Love the bat! It’s not good to disturb them in winter, they need to conserve their energy because there aren’t insects for them to eat. Disturbing them can lead to their death.
Perfect timing. Needed something to watch.
This abandoned infrastructure was very interesting. Thanks for showing us.
Looks like it was perfect weather for tunnel exploring.
I'm so glad you brought Mrs Wellie. I spent my youth in Wellies building dams then busting them down 👢👢 🥰
Man Pennsylvania looks so great. I've never been there but I'd love to visit that tunnel in the beginning.
I live in PA. It's a local tradition to try and hold your breath when you drive through the tunnels. It's fun to see if you can make it, especially if there is traffic.
When we went camping we went through these mountains, I’d try my hardest and barely get through the first and completely forget the second… I would always give up
What if you pass out behind the wheel😅
@HatstandEvents In the USA, culverts, roads, and bridges are primarily managed by their state and local governments. The federal government doesn't do much when it comes to roads and culverts. Road quality can vary from state to state because of this. Pete Buttigieg is the Secretary of Transportation for the US and really has nothing to do with things like that. The federal government might provide states with grants to fix this or that, but that has to be approved by Congress. Pete would be able to provide minor oversight in those situations, but that's about it.
I remember your exploring video of this place from before. Thanks for sharing again!
Midwest magic cleaning says HI! This is a new channel for me, I'll be watching you!
Hi from a Midwest Magic Cleaning fan! 🎉
Yeah so Midwest Magic Cleaning sent me over. Said to say hi because he's a huge fan. ❤
Been thru those tunnels many many times going from VA to IN to visit my grandparents in hammond. Thanks for the trip down memory lane
How many of those tunnels are on the way through? Thanks
17:39 I love bats. They’re so cute.
Thanks for the heart
Finally! I get to see what's in these things, I always pass through these (I drive the turnpike at least once ever month or more) and I've always been curious! Also thanks for showcasing these, one of my favorite features of the toll roads.
Awesome area. I have driven near and through the open tunnels many times but never went to abandoned.
We need more culvert camping videos pleaseeeeee 😂
I agree! I want him to try to get his little hydro-electric fan working if there is a water flow!
Just got back from Pennsylvania yesterday, I live in Michigan and go see family in Punxsutawney where groundhog day is. The toll was 14.25 for the turnpike.
Wow! I had to pay $8.04 to drive a few miles on the George Bush Turnpike in Dallas, TX. These tolls are outrageous.
"Phil? Phil Connors"??
@@Johnniebhoy83 he's in there
Post! When are we gonna see some winter camping? I've been needing my abandoned bus/culvert/winter tent/etc 24 hour videos!
As we all want to see the camping videos too, hasn't really been that cold and snowy this winter yet
Great to cya, Post 10!
Great videos my Man.
Keep up the nice work!
What could be better than a new Post 10 video? A new long Post 10 video!
Hi. The dude from the Midwest Magic Cleaning Channel sent me over here and wanted me to say hi.
Hi.
I hope you do more good camping content this year!
post is back! my area also finally got snow after 3 years- the curse is finally over 🎉🎉🎉
So cool for you to come back for a visit to one of my favorite locations that you have visited ,I’m thinking a “bat and black widow “ tshirt coould be popular.Loved the burp and whistle serenade.
That was a great ride..Tks P10 👍
Welcome back to Pa!
Really cool video. Thank you
It's good to see post-ten shadow there with you
Yesss, it's the middle of summer and need this kind of stuff.
I only saw it for a second, but I believe that was a Native brook trout in that stream
Tunnels creep me out. You never know who or what you will find. Awesome video Post, thanks for the ride 😁
I love all the bats!❤
Loved that noise at 48:28 😂
I love going through the turnpike tunnels. I'm air pressure sensitive and about 20ft in it's such a relief. Would love to hike the abandoned tunnels sometime.
Posty is so romantic taking his lady to see bats and wall diarrhea. Actually that does look like a fun date tbh.
😂😂😂
I like how she outted him on the mcgriddles lol
Used to fly through those tunnels when I drove OTR in my 579 Pete.
How long was that?
Thanks Post! 👊🏻👍🏻Appreciate you my friend 🙏🏻
Great video.who new there were abandon tunnels you can walk through, might need to visit them, thank you for the video.
I'm glad you had a great day Post!
I was as excited as you when you saw the drains. My favorite is Drain Cleaning Australia! He's hilarious and I'm sure I found him through the algorithm by watching you, lol.
Hey, welcome to PA!
I grew up around here. We used to take trips up here as teenagers. This was back in the late 70s. Had lots of fun over the years in this area.
Thanks for taking me back to those memories
Be well
This was great seeing this again. Scary staircases. Always fun seeing things from the past and how they looked and worked. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We use to go through these tunnels on the way to my Grandmas house in Pottsville. Us three girls tried to see who could say weeeeeee! the longest while going through them. This was so cool to see.
I watch an Australian plumber that gives you homage now and then.
Nice what's his page?
Bread van camping video please, we need a winter update!
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
Very cool echos! Post10!❣️🍀
Plenum is just a fancy world for the upper space/above the ceiling. Where you were :) Man, what a great place to explore. Glad to see you weren't alone, I know my nerves would give me a hard time creeping around there by myself!
More specifically, a plenum or plenum space is part of a structure used for air handling. In some cases it can also be the space under a raised floor. You will also find some cabling labeled for use in plenum spaces because there are criteria related to off fading of volatile compounds both in normal operation and in case of fire.
the echo and reverberation from those thunderous belches was loud! I almost thought there was a bovine or swine in the tunnel with you lol
I’ve driven through that tunnel 😊a couple times when I lived in New Jersey. Thank God I live in Arizona now cool video.😊
Many times through the Pa. Turnpike tunnels with my grand parents.
Post 10👍👍
15:39 caught me off guard lol. I thought you were solo.
I did too. 1:06:22 as well.
Some of the graffiti was awesome! Ya'll chose a pretty day to go there. I sent the link to my Penn. friends. LOL Maybe they can take a field trip. lol Thanks a bunch.
Do a camping video there or somewhere please
Nice revisit 🦇🦇 Post and Postette
Midwest Magic Cleaning recommend your channel. 😎👍
great video, i really liked this one! i'm glad you spread the awareness of asbestos because a lot of people are unaware of its hazardous properties.
Love your videos
You always present great adventures sir. Well done 👍
Posties belch at the end. Hahahaha. Better out than in.
Midwest magic ❤s you!
I was hoping it was the Lehigh Valley tunnel, going towards Philadelphia. I was just there last thursday to see jeff dunham in philly.
It's been at least thirty years since I went through the Lehigh tunnel on the north east extension, is that tunnel still in use, or was the road realigned?
That is the tunnel through the Blue Moutainn
I saw Dunham this past Saturday in Fairfax, Va for the first time. He’s hilarious
@@crazykev6491 me seeing him in philly was my 3rd time seeing him
Great video, Post ❤
Those random raspberries about did me in 😅 please more echo stuff
Hi! I subscribed because Midwest Magic Cleaning said he likes your videos
I've come over from Midwest Magic Cleaning to say hey! I'll definately be watching your content!
Thank you for your posts. Can't wait for your new camping videos.
Definitely miss these types of videos. Keep it up!
Some of the comments say above them, 2 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago, but the video was only posted 37 minutes ago.
Post, do you believe there are such things as bigfoot or have you come across anything strange?
people who are members of his patreon have access to his videos earlier.
So essantialy he took this video earlier and posted it earlier for the patreons but later for us nice
I thought I was the king of burps. 😂. Nice to know I have competition! I’d score yours as 9/10 though. Point deduction for length. They could have been longer. 😂 😂 😂
Missed ya!
Along with The hoosac tunnel Aka the Blood pit I love both of these it's very interesting I was looking all about this tunnel and the surroundings
Always a pleasure to see new graffiti, beautiful art. Some of it looks downright psychedelic.
Hi! I am so happy I got to watch a new video!! Happy day! ❤
Plenum is the air ducks above the traffic tunnel.
Ron
Dang you were only like 80 some miles from me, welcome to the scenic PA again bud, now if you stayed through our snowfall recently, some good scenery, you were here the nice days before the snow after new year
I visted one of these tunnels a few years ago. I did not explore the service areas. The holes in the floor are terrifying. I also did not bring a strong enough flashlight. Thanks for showing us around!
Great echos!
Thanks for not adding jump-scares
As long-time fans of both, I'd absolutely love it if you and Midwest Magic Cleaning could collab!!
Hey you were in my backyard!
On the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Annapolis Maryland they have the same thing like gates to block off traffic if they need to do maintenance on one of the bridges.
On the list with the aparmentsfor me to visit this year . its about 2+ hours away tho
Nice one 👍
thx for that ! i am from poland and i planing trip over the us and this is on my list i want to get there on a bike :)
I remember the PA Turnpike from when I was a little kid on family vacations. I remember Dad slowing down at the toll booth and tossing a quarter in the basket.
thanks for taking us along
