I've seen this so many times but it's still funny. Worse thing is, I always use a 'zakje' for my dogs and every time when I'm outside trying to open the zakje I have to think of this, lol. It's a part of my life!!

This is so old. My sons are grown now but we still use "Put it in a zakje" every now and then. And everyone knows where that quote comes from. That man is so funny.

LOL this video is years old and since we saw this, a plastic bag in our household is always called "a zaakje' pronounced in the way he says this!

Last Thursday we had a company party and I quoted 'put it in a zakje' (out of nowhere, haven't used the term in years, but was appropriate in the context) and people still laughed / remembered. Iirc his longer sketch / the full version in the Comedy Club was even better, but don't think that was ever broadcasted...

Zakje = Little bag. We just put "je" at the end of a word to make it smaller... zak (big), zakje (small)

that was one of the funniest comedians that went on that show.
he also did a set called koninginnendag ( queensday ) , which was fantastic too.
i also remember there was a black comedian that had a set where he imitated a camel, that was fantastic as well, but i can not for the life of me remember his name.

Where are the days we had zakjes.. now you have to bring your own.. zakje…
Then you label it, you go to the checkout, you bleep it yourself and pay it..

Unfortunately there are no zakjes anymore in the Albert Heijn. Couple weeks ago they stopped with free zakjes. Now you have to buy a plastic net. Don't throw this a way, you can use it more often. Otherwise you have to buy a new one. In the end there is less plastic waste. That's the idea.
I don't call it a "zakje" but us here up north in the Netherlands, we call it a "puutje".
Nowadays they weigh it at the register.. no more labels
Not at every supermarket ;) the one I work at you still have to weigh it yourself.
@@robin.n yeah but you don’t realize they have weights at the register nowadays. So they see the weight and can estimate if you really have put extra in. Like the prize and weight will pop up when they scan your code.

The worst part is, he's not even exegerating all that much :') I imagine with the self-checkouts it's even worse lmao 9/10 times you just walk off without even getting checked the one time you do they're so over their jobs that they hardly even check what they're holding they just grab something and scan it for a confirmation that its on your receipt.

Hilarius saw this many times. In the mean time we have modernized a lot, you scan every thing yourself and pay with your phone. Plastic bags don't exist anymore.
