I think in ALL the years I watch André he's never lost his cool. The others were sometimes on the floor laughing but he kept a straight face. That alone is hilarious, lol.
Well he told in an intervieuw how he does that. And as an actor and comedian I tried this myselve and it works. He is rather tall and the others are shorter then him. You start laughing when you watch a person in the eyes and in the faces. If you dont do that you got no problem. So he looks up a bit. At their forehead. So it seams you are talking to hem but your not staring them in the eyes and you dont crack up. And it works perfectly: I used to work with a very short partner: he coud do wathever he wanted because when we would stand next to eatchoter and I looked straight forward he was litterally out of my vision. The audience was rolling on the floor over his antics but I managed to keep a very straight serious face. What also is an explanation why Andre never cracks up. HE is always the one improvising and doing silly stuff offscript. He knows whats comming, he invented it on the spot. But the others dont know the jokes either. So offcourse they are laughing. But many timesit is real the first time and when they notice the audience likes it and laugh ass well they started doing that on purpose

Everytime I need new glasses I have the same problem. I can't see it, lol. So they make a picture of me wearing the new frame so I can put my old glasses back on and look at the picture to see if I like it, lolol.

Spoiler alert, but....
I love how I didn't even see it was an "H" and an "I" before he pointed them out. Since I was already laughing with the "I", I was howling almost to the point of needing medical attention when he mentioned the "H".
That red light district pun worked out perfectly! Better than in Dutch actually.
At first I thought it was a pity that the optician wasn't Frans va nDusschoten, but this guy also is perfect for the role, whoever he is!
