- In this video, I will teach you how to survive ALL 4 seasons in Don't Starve SW (Shipwrecked) This includes; Mild Season, Hurricane Season, Monsoon Season and Dry season, but that's not all, fans of the channel probably already know that I have released these guides separately already, and because I would hate to just mash everything together and call it a video I decided to add one final shipwrecked segment at the end, so stick around to see that!

A lot of work in this video. Well done.
I have a couple of suggestions: Try and get a miner's hat and boat lantern as soon as possible. Concentrate on putting down wood flooring in your base before monsoon. The more the better. Put a sandbag in the "center" of the puddles near your base. This will stop the puddles from spreading.
Some good advice!
Many players don’t seem aware that the horned helmet will protect you from poisonous bites from mosquitoes, spiders, snakes, scorpions etc. granted the helmet is challenging to get because you have to kill a water buffalo to get its horn, and they are much harder to hunt in shipwrecked then in ROG. But they are great because you don’t have to drop your backpack in the water to put on a seashell suit, if you hear a mosquito during monsoon season.
Shipwrecked has to be one of my favorite DLCs to watch being played. It's familiar enough to feel like DS, but so many different things to keep it feeling new and exciting.
Can't wait to see the next video!
I played original don’t starve and it’s DLC for years and your guides are super helpful There’s a few things I did not know about until watching your videos.
Surprisingly a lot of new and useful information you got here. Especially Sealnado and Monsoon guides. I love Shipwrecked and played it a lot while strugling with Sealnado and Hurricane. Thank you for your great work!
I just started a New SW world and got a God like luck of world generation which give me everything
I don't want to lose it to some stupid things so I come back to this video 😂
Really such a good guide 🎉
Glad that this video helps :D
I like using a bunch of obsidian axes for farming logs to waterproof islands cause obsidian isn't too hard to amass anyway
Fair enough! You can really get a ton of the stuff if you trawl in dry season
@polarlotus I survived the volcano without appeasement, and I got 1 and 1/2 stacks
Fire Pack’em is SO much better than ice Chester, especially when you get coffee
Time to make Hamlet version
It's in the works!
@@polarlotus can't wait but take your time, great things takes time
thank you that is a very good video i love it i love Shipwrecked
Thank you for the support, It is my favorite DLC :)
Good content dude! So refreshing to see SW guides after so much time has passed.
One thing he did not mention (understandably), was the brainy matter. He sailed by it at 15:45. Other than being an insanely good sanity source (you do have to stand really close to it), it produces one of the strongest items in the Dont Starve series: the Brain of Thought, mainly OP if you're playing a SW-Hamlet-RoG world. This item basically gives you access to any and all crafting recipes accross all games, provided you have the resources to build them (main reason why I understand Polar didn't mention it, it's not as useful in standalone SW). Definitely worth a mention!
Yeah I didn't cover the brain of thought in this video, but I made sure to in my followup video! :D
Pickup those 4 vids and slap them all together in one vid + one segment ! Awesome !
Anyways I don't even care, I'll watch the vid all the way through.
Good guide. ty
Yea shipwrecked 🥰🥰
I thought crocodogs were stunlockable. I find sw so hard and frustrating 😢
They actually are stunlockable, this is something I got wrong in this guide
not stunlocking croccodogs... is that a consol feature that you can't stunlock them there? because you can in pc
You can stunlock crocodogs, kiting is just more useful imo when you get swarmed and are still using the spear
The gameplay was also pre-mega update which just came out for console edition but I think you were able to stunlock them there too, I just forgot to mention it because I am silly
Idk if its me but i fell that sw is more boring than rog and ham
but coffee makes total change of gameplay on those two worlds...
Maybe but so cool vibe :)
Many people find exploring the huge stretches of ocean to be boring, but there are so many different ways to approach a shipwrecked base, depending on which character you choose. For example, it is very fun to make a water base for Woodlegs.
