Honestly I like the ruins theme and sure for a fighting theme its way to goofy but,think about the ruins...its a place where sanity is hard to manage and there are threats everywhere and your constantly overwhelmed with clockworks,monkeys,and shadows so logically if your on low health and being chased by those things the only thing that make your anxiety skyrocket is a loud,noisy,and messy theme with trumpet blaring mixed with menacing undertones

I love drying racks to make jerky in all versions of don't starve. Jerky lasts a relatively long time and gives a lot of health, hunger, and sanity. It can go in crock pot recipes and can be fed to pigs. Paired with a bee box and a source of large meat like spiders, and small meat like crabbits or fish, you can make a lot of honey ham. It goes bad a lot quicker than just the jerky though. Honey by itself also lasts a long time and gives both health and hunger.

Comparing to the original they are disgusting xD 1st of all you dont add butter but other kind of oil like rapeseed oil. Although I dont mind you adding butter it is just oil -you dont add eggs to the dough -the sausages looks disgusting and you dont even add them to the original filling (assuming you make the "russian" filling). You can add fried lard as a garnish at the end instead (its so fucking good) -peel the potatoes before you boil them pls -you use white cheese (something like a quark) not normal cheese -you also can add glazed onion either to the filling and/or as a garnish -they look like they are regurgitated but how they look shouldn't change the taste so i guess its fine -the sour cream looks like mayo, why is it not more like wet or something -you dont need to fry the on a pan. I presonally like them freshly boiled and if there are any leftover then i fry them.

there wasnt enough food outside the woodie fight pit, i starved. Also the ghost sanity drain was insane. Someone stole my shield of terror during the social experiment too, but i guess i deserved it because i stole all the hambats and thulecite clubs

as a woodie main, it’s absolutely TRAGIC that, instead of any epic boss music, i have to hear the same hoedown moose music every single time i fight a big guy, so i personally am so tired of it. + temperate hamlet fight music is actually so tired to me because of how often it plays after doing the pettiest of crimes in front of a pig guard
