    Oh and don't forget, Ngannou landed an knee to the groin in round 1, an intentional uppercut to the groin in round 2, an eye poke in round 4 and an illegal knee.
    49-46 XD, they are doing a UFC Africa and there is nothing that will stop them.

      Called you a racist not because you said gane wọn but because you already accused ngannou of epo before the fight ended.. Gane was robbed agreed.. But when picks don't go your way you are far too emotional and you do this only with black fighters. Anyone who thinks ngannou won is being dishonest. You are a very good analyst but you have to at least be a bit objective.. Saying gane threw the fight was so so low.. He made a bad decision.

      3-2 win for Francis, IMO bcs Gane has no experience, but definetlly better fighter tonight Gane. I cannot believe how he loses this fight. Francis controlled him on the ground but did literally NOTHING except that. Gane wins next one against Francis iff happens. For the first time Francis outclassed in stand up game.

    3-2 Gane papi
    Gane rds 1,2,5
    You cant give ngannou the fifth, he was outpointed on the feet, gane got a take down and then he put him in a heel hook (effective grappling). All ngannou did was lay on top of gane for the remainder of the round, no offense or advancement of position, hence Gane wins.

    Y’all just clearly like new toys in the UFC, I’ve never seen so many people cry over someone losing. Y’all once hyped up Francis back in the day, but he loses twice and y’all forgot about that hype. He comes back and improves his entire game, and some new dude who y’all think is the greatest fighter in the world comes along and thinks he beats Francis with ease, DONT get me wrong Gane is great and I believe he can become champ one day, matter of fact I believe he could beat jon Jones, but as a fan base, as fans you Gane fans are just fake. Y’all hyped up Cyril so much that you forgot how much Francis had improved, and on top of that Francis had injured his mcl and ACL. 48-47 for Francis is the right call. It’s clear ciryl won the first 2 rounds but he just coasted through the rounds, he then faced adversity in the last 3 and although he attempted a submission, he just couldn’t overcome Francis pure strength. Francis controlled much of the fight the last 3 rounds, and some of y’all may say “well he did no damage” but we’ve seen plenty of fighter do the same thing and most people don’t complain. Y’all were just hoping your new toy Ciryl would’ve won. Accept reality and realize Francis is the baddest man on the planet as of this moment.

Yeah gane had 2 submission attempts. But does he lose points for Francis getting out of it..? And does Francis get points for escaping it? He controlled the fight, had gane backing up majority of the fight, crossed him with some counters that were bigger then they seemed and slammed the hell out of him a few times. It literally says in the scoring criteria straight up that damage and attempts at finishing the fight are scored first then if that is even/equal you can add ‘control’ as the deciding factor . Gane landed more strikes in round 5 and had 2 sub attempts. Ngannu laying on him for a while while doing zero damage and attempting zero sub attempts is only considered ‘control’ but like I said the scoring criteria is very clear that control only comes into play when the more relevant things are EVEN but they WERE NOT EVEN . What is so hard to understand

    • @SaftonYT
      @SaftonYT Před 2 lety +1

      Refs don't score fights.
      It doesn't matter if Gane's backing up if he's outlanding Ngannou (and he was). And why on Earth would a fighter "lose points" for their opponent escaping submission attempts? If that was the case submission specialists would be fucked in any fight that goes to the cards because even best submission aces generally throw up way more attempts than they actually get. Ciryl outlanded Ngannou in the fifth on the feet prior to scoring his takedown, got reversed, and then had an extremely tight heel hook that looked close to finishing the fight. Francis did little after the reversal except hold Ciryl down. He looked like he might threaten an arm triangle, but never really committed to it. Had mount but never rained down GnP.
      If you forced me to pick between several solid strikes, a TD, and a solid sub attempt OR a reversal and a few minutes of dominant top control that wasn't backed up by any real substance (i.e. damage or attempts to finish), I'll take the former every time. It was absolutely a close round and I'm not saying it was a robbery by any means. But I had it 48-47 Gane. YMMV.

    • @ay8292
      @ay8292 Před 2 lety +3

      @Blue Pill Cuck if you are going by the scoring criteria which PRETTY CLEARLY STATES that it values strikes Landing over a takedown followed by no strikes landing then you can score the fight rounds 1,2,4,5 for Gane . Round 1 was very close so it could go either way but I edged it to Gane. Round 4 is close but Again based on the actual scoring criteria getting a takedown is not more important than the actual strikes being landed that round. Round 5 is close but again same thing but you add in sub attempts which scoring criteria also values over control time which is what Francis had when he was laying on top doing absolutely nothing . If you want to be nice to Francis and argue that the slams were damaging in round 4 then fine give him that round and give round 1 as well if you want to be nice to him and he obviously won round 3 so being GENEROUS/NICE to Francis has him winning 1,3,4 but in no way did he win round 5 . I think it’s fair to give a toss up round to each guy so they each get one which is even but Gane clearly won rounds 2 and 5 and then you give him either round 1 or round 4 (which are the tossup rounds ) and Gane wins 48-47.

Just look at the post fight.. not what he said. His fuckin face says it all.. come on man.. can it not be about if someone comes out with messed up face. You do great research and have great breakdowns, but sometimes, you like to trash and just bombard the fighters with insults. I'm a fan of you Guru, but whenever you don't like how it plays out or heavily disagree, you degrade the fighters. That's the main reason I don't wanna subscribe to your channel. Don't take this as a hate comment, because this isn't. I'm just trying to tell you what's wrong with what your doing. Also, you constantly make fun of the female fighters which is usually funny most of the time, but come on, there are sometimes when it's mostly just because of you emotions.

    Even tho i love you guru, this is were i gotta dissagree with you. You keep puttin emphasis on the word damage......but damage has nothing to do with how they judge a fight. A fight is judged on 4 criterias:
    1. Effective striking
    2. Effective grappling
    3. Effective agression
    4. Dominance on the octogon
    If you want to won based on damage alone....grt a ko. If you keave it to the judges, damage will only be a portion of the equasion. You might not like those rules but that is the truth.
    1. Cyril won when it comes to effective striking in the 5th, that is a fact.
    2. In effective grappling Cyril DEFINITLY lost. You can make fun of ngannou only staying on top and breathing on him....but what did cyril do? A fail attempt at rolling? A laughably innefective heel hook? Ngannou dominated him on the ground.
    2. Effective agression. If you are backing up during most of the fight, even if its a strategy, even if you are getting some good strikes in, you AUTOMATICLY loose unless the oponent doesent chase you down.
    3. And here, in dominance in the octogon is where cyril could have won the match but didnt. Because most of the 5th was on the floor, a cyril had to do to win was staying on top of ngannou, yet he didnt, the fact that ngannou stayed on top, again make fun of it as much as you want, means DOMINANCE. And ngannou clearly knew that he was going to get points for that, so played the points game and won.
    This loss was totally cyrils fault and no one else. He wasnt agressive, his wrestling and grappling was extremly bad and he refused to attempt at being dominant for whatever reason he had(i have some theories but they are just that....theories). You can call damage all you want, but unless there is a ko, damage is only a fourth of the equasion.

    Gane got controlled most of the fight. That’s why “it wasn’t very action packed”. He ragdolled him. Wanna talk robbery then let’s agree Reyes beat Jones and Gustafson did too. I’ll agree with that but Francis won this clearly. Yes gane won on the feet but look at all the slams on him and how often he got top guard control and in my opinion the only reason gane couldn’t have won regardless of winning on the feet is because there wasn’t enough strikes thrown for it to reverse the decision of all the takedowns and top control from Francis. If he would’ve swung 50 times and landed more than 9-10 hits each round then I agree but throwing a max of like 30-35 times and landing 19 as his highest strikes round just isn’t enough. Also most rounds were barely double digit landed hits. It was a control fight and gane lost
