In south-west Uganda, 90% of WFP's assistance is in the form of cash.

A land-locked country in east Africa, Uganda hosts the largest number of refugees on the continent, including people displaced from South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Burundi.
WFP provides cash/food assistance to meet the food and nutrition needs of over one million refugees as well as Ugandans affected by recurring climate shocks.
