- WFP gives people food, but increasingly it gives cash too. That cash empowers people to make decisions themselves how to meet their needs - food or otherwise - at any given time.
Cash is also having a transformative change for the women who receive it, and it’s also reframing the way that WFP works with governments around the world.

Cash is Empowering, Children are put to school and changing the roles of women in communities , thank you WFP for moving towards SDGs, I am glad to be part of Cash and Voucher Programming
Today, l discovered this channel & what a powerhouse of information❗️After subscribing, l began watching the playlists, however, every video has opened my eyes wider to the very real struggles & suffering of the people living in impoverished countries must deal with. I especially like that there’s a focus on empowering families with cash to decide what individual families need most critically, e.g., the woman that needed shoes for her children to attend school, as well as clothing.
Cash Critical For Humanity.Well Done.
Let's start helping Americans who are going hungry first!

3:21 More cash in the hands of women. I dont know if thats a good Idea
And why is that?
@@consolatatunguta1942 I was joking
WOW, maternal instincts are strong! I believe in these women: they can make better decisions in keeping their families safe, providing more nutritious foods, access to medicine, clothing, & in some cases, relocation to safer areas. Cash truly gives them more power to decide their own fate, as well as more opportunities to make the choices to get them where they either need to be, or want to be. I’m proud that some of these women saved part f the money for small business start ups! I mean, HOW GREAT IS THAT?
