- Victimas Perez is a 9a that might have required the most effort ever for me. It is my absolute nemesis route. It was my side-project when I was trying Perfecto Mundo, so basically I tried it when the weather was too bad for Perfecto Mundo but not too bad to climb at all.
It is an ultimate kind of route, pretty basic two-finger-pocket pulling in the steep overhang, with a good dose of power endurance and final crux that kept spitting me off. Enjoy the next video dedicated to this route!

Beautiful commentary, what a wild insight! I expect in 10, 25, 50 and even 100 years these videos will still be watched by climbers looking back at the history of the sport.

It's so humbling that the best part of the climb for you was the 6b/c finish! Shows it's not always about the grade, it's about enjoying the rock!

Climbing is just functional strenght, endurance and mental control at its finest. So much respect for the sport. I see a lot of teens thrown into the bodybuilding scene for aesthetics it`s funny almost.

I think climbing is one of the most honest sports. In most sports people only show their successes, but in climbing we see all the failures that lead to that success. Also in climbing you are basically always just competing against yourself. Even in competition, other than speed climbing, you are alone on the wall.

What sports are you talking about? I would say exactly the opposite, that in most sports you see a lot of failure (and sometimes that failure is televised). Most at bats in baseball end in failure, most shots on goal in hockey end in failure, most field goal attempts in basketball end in failure, and the list goes on and on. Most of what we see in sports is a failed attempt. When it comes to extreme sports that aren't aired live like climbing, just because someone decides to include their failures in a video, I don't think there's anything inherently more honest in that than in any other sport. Also, I think it is generally understood that when people are pushing the limits or doing something difficult in extreme sports, most of what they're doing is failing, even if it's not shown.

Best climber in the world has been crushing all climbs above 9a, managed to do a 9c even and after 6 years hopes that particular 9a ,which felt like shit at the time, would be easy now that he's so much stronger.

Ok serious question. How do they get the quickdraws into the bolts before he climbs it?
weird question: why do climber leave the clipdraws on the rock? I mean how long are some of them hanging there? I know you dont wanna put them onto the wall in each session but every Margalef video i see, all the routes have clipsdraws allready in place.

Who puts the hooks in? Does the first person that climbs the route have to put the hooks in while climbing?
Perhaps it was bad that silence was my introduction to adam... now I watch him do an 8b and I'm like "how do you fall adam? Its an 8b! I can do 8b!😆😆😆"
