Rockhounding For Gemstones In Nova Scotia

In this video, the boys and I head out to one of our favorite spots to go rockhounding for gemstones, Scot's Bay Beach, Nova Scotia. This video is my perspective of the hunt. The boys did their own filming and that video will come in the next couple of weeks so stay on the lookout for that. SPOILER - The boys found way better stuff than I did on this outing!!

You found some really awesome stuff! Your find of the day was just stunning. And your amethyst sagenite pieces were beautiful. All the different kinds of seam agates in that area are beautiful and wow, just too much to mention! So beautifully picturesque there and mineral diversity, you are so lucky! Scots bay is awsome... have you made it down to advocate... some really neat stuff down there between the parks

Finding stones down there cream color with orange... then looks like cranberry jelly with pyrite all through it... really neat stuff

The geological reserve is neat there too and there's a big sandstone place looks like pride rock. Good photo op ❤😊
