Just one question, do you have any episode on how, in a step-by-step, you do research on stocks? I would love to see that and keep on learning. I work in the telecom industry, NEP in Asia at the moment, and yeah, this year for the MWC Barcelona, congress, eeeeeeeeeeeeeverything is around AI, CLOUD, and power management. From end to end. I lost big on ARKK and ARKF as well. Sounded good at the time. Those two ETFs sunk like a lead balloon.

Great vid, I would look for companys that make the actual AR/VR vision a thing, the one that make the chips that allow screens to work. Like HIMX, MX, o some other companys. They could earn some of that big money pie too

@@partyhardplayhardgaming8106 10x in a year is hard to guess. For long term I am buying CELH, food/drinks companys tend to skyrocket in the long term, see MNST or DPZ for example. Considering that CELH is now starting to get out to international markets, is a buy and hold for a few years imo.
For AI, I would look at software side of the market too, I already have HIMX and AMD

This video is super, and really interesting to me, as my career had me work a lot with VR, starting with Oculus 3 stuff, as well as traditional computing. As I wrote before to you, in a comment, I dont know AI, and your insight here is very interesting. Much of your input here is very useful. Interesting thing is the stocks you mention, I already own most of them. and coincidentally had been increasing my share of QCOM. Only comment I would disagree with is your excitement of hololens. I dont think this product is really in MSFT's strategic plan. I think it is a point product. I suspect they will combine some of the tech with their chaptgt logic and come up with something combined. Not sue, but I suspect it could be a B2B product. . But I do agree with you, that Vision Pro could be a major long term play for AAPL and I suspect they will get it to a price point where it goes B2C at the same premium level as other AAPL products. . (One question, given you went to MIT, do you know who JES is? If so, we really need to talk, but not via a YT comment.
Important to note that Meta (then Facebook) invested in early neural networks for the computer vision aspects of VR going all the way back to 2014.
What about VRT?
Very informative and interesting, and will probably make you rich. The societal implications can be very troubling. Since the advent of television people don't read nearly as much and the level of education keeps spiraling down.

At first it seemed crazy to me that what boils down to a chip company could become the biggest company on the planet, but when you look back at companies like AT&T, they were the chip companies of their day, building up the backbone of the technology that everyone else used.

Daniel Pronk's recent video on Applle and Microsoft and Meta plus others gives a different way of looking at it.
Daniel ist a fundamentals guy, while Alex ist more about the vision. Both have good points.
One based on price/ valuation (reality) vs hope that despite current high price ratios the stock just keeps going up for some reason

You can say Zeiss also benefits a lot from AI and VR. They make the lenses of the Apple VR headset and with Zeiss Semiconductor they benefit from supplying ASML for their machines. With EUV and High NA they will earn more. They are the only supplier possible.
I think only their medical subsidiary is listed on the stock market?
Apple has the perfect setup with their eco system to introduce an AI assistant. From phone to watch to tv to computer and now even Vision Pro. They know this and so in my opinion Apple will go all-in on A.I. This is the obvious next step for all smart devices.

Love your videos sir! And although I'm probably in the minority, I enjoy these longer videos bcoz they have so much substance.
You say 37% avg growth per year, but nvda stock currently priced MASSIVELY beyond that. People seem to be expecting a one time growth of 240% on this up coming Q report. All future Q growths will be significantly below that and likely below 150% if even a 3 digit growth. As always, almost all or most of the growth occurs at the first years, And this company's been around for ~25 years, if you don't count the previous brand names it originated from or merged with. So they are a new AI company as of 2023 with efforts to get here starting back in 2017 and before.
There is NO WAY you think that almost all or most of Nvidia's growth happened in their early years if you look at their most recent 2 quarters of earnings.
@TickerSymbolYOU I fixed it. 2023 was essentially their first year as a new AI company. So that's what I'm considering as their first year. Even though it began back in 2017.
Regardless, it's impossible for them to meet the growth requirement now and also for the next 5 years on EPS to justify the current price. Again, on EPS. The growth on EPS is what matters. All pricing is supposed to be based on the EPS growth. Not revenue and not anything else. All their potential is irrelevant unless you have the math there for their future projected growth to justify their price. And the math does not support it. So some are going to lose huge. I just don't know the timeline for it.

I thought that Unity charging per download was a brilliant move. In particular it gave studios with lower budgets access to bigger budget tools by pushing the cost of development down the chain. If the game was a hit, Unity and the developer profited. If it was a bust, the developer was out much less and may survive to try again. I thought this was a win for the market in general. My sense is the big budget developers didn’t want the competition from shoe string start-up’s or smaller companies so they started a frenzy and killed it. Shame. And you participated.
