  • Joe Russo from “We’re the Russos” leads a walk-through of the Hawk Flatbed camper model on his 2004 Ford F350 4x4, starting with the Norweld aluminum tray and its storage compartments. The tour then moves inside the truck bed camper. Joe discusses the options he selected, including the interior shower.
The dinette and table in the Four Wheel camper turns into a bed. After this is explained, the storage in the dinette area, plugs and switches, and self-installed cassette toilet are demonstrated. Next, there’s a look at the lithium batteries, which are powered by the vehicle or roof-mounted solar panels.
This walk-through also looks at the power management system and water tank. It covers the kitchen’s flush mounted sink, two-burner gas stove, and refrigerator with bottom storage, as well as the bed and underbed storage. Other features shown include vents, lights, and windows (with thermal pack and protective layers) as well as exterior options like the scissor steps, sidewall steps, LED lighting, awning, and rear rack.

Love the detail of the set up and all the options you picked. How hard can you push your truck off road with a flat bed camper in the back?

Seems like it would be tough to live in there full time without an AC unit. Didn’t it get really hot in the summer?
