    I worked at a weigh station for a while (worst job ever, BTW). I had to install a translator app on my phone to be able to communicate with some drivers. When I asked the DOT officer how they even got their CDL, he just shrugged.

    I hear you, man. Although I’m immigrant myself it still shocks me how do these people dare to get a CDL and start driving with zero English.

      i learned while looking at how much cdl programs cost in other areas that some schools even advertise being bilingual. not a problem if the average foreign driver can read and speak english like the green bible says but it's just not the case.
      (when i got mine it was disgustingly cheap, but you'll have to take my word that im a skilled no-nonsense driver lol)

    It is mind boggling, how do they read the “prepare to stop ahead” signs.
    They don’t.

      I know what you are saying man. We all know it but this isn't them "not reading a sign." This is them given a
      "By-your-leave" from the very country they hate which is why they are here.
      This is coming back to bite The United States in the ass. We did not go there to do this to them. They came here to do this to us out of sheer hatred, racism and bigotry. I don't see real Pork Sausage in a biscuit over there. I see vegetarian, bamboo and grass in a biscuit over here packed in a pancake from the same and layered in french toast slices that are the same. It came from cheap hotel across the street.
      They read the signs perfectly. This is a game they play then pay their sister's husband running that hotel for 40 more cousins to come over. The sister and her husband learned this at Harvard.
      We allow it by who we vote for. My Flag is being replaced by Sudaka and Sudah wearing a turbin toting a sickle and an AK-47 plastered on the side of their trucks...but they work here paid for by us.
      They read it very well.

      If he can’t speak a lick of English?!? If he’s going to college at least he can read and write in English. How the fuck is complaining that a guy can’t even speak simple English to pick up his load racism?? Think you need to understand what racism is before leaving an ignorant comment like that.. and why does everyone always advert to attacking family?

    • @dougtipton6723
      @dougtipton6723 Před 24 dny +4

      Stating the facts isn’t racism. I see everyday foreign truckers that can’t speak a lick of English. They actually have to show the origin whse the bol on their phone because they can’t speak English. I see the frustration from the loaders and the truck stop fuel desk workers who try to u derstand them. Plus they are horrible drivers

    • @TravelNAmerica
      @TravelNAmerica Před 23 dny +1

      If you have an issue with a driver's post, address it with him directly and leave their family out of it. Maybe you are offend because one of your 80 cousins is hauling 40k plus loads OTR barely understanding the road signs, paperwork, and what is being communicated to him in English, but that's on you. This is a HUGE safety concern for EVERYONE on the road. How many accidents do these foreigners cause? How many bridges have they ran into because they dont understand 11ft or No Thru Trucks? How many road closures delaying other drivers? It isn't racism. It is about keeping everyone alive and safe. And yes, super frustrating for those who need to communicate with Non-English speaking drivers every single day. How is it they are getting their CDL???

    • @fighter4christ7
      @fighter4christ7 Před 23 dny +5

      Lol says the guy named Mohamed. Listen bud, where you come from your people don’t just let us waltz in and if we unknowingly brake some religious law it can have serious repercussions. Americans need travel and work visas to do anything anywhere else outside the U.S. We are racist for requiring the same standard. If we had a job in an Arab country, I doubt we’d get very far without knowing the language. But here we are putting up with it. You should feel grateful. All we really ask is that you’re held to the same standard, it’s against Federal law for a CDL holder to not be able to communicate or read English here in the U.S. and yet we do nothing about it. Even though you submitted an absurd comment at least you proved you can communicate in English. Now go teach your comrades!
