A nice thing with the mortor upgrade is it also works if you acknowledge someone elses ping. So if theres big targets you cant see but your buddy does you can have him ping it and you just ping his marker through a wall 😊
That’s freaking amazing
Re read it, you have to acknowledge the pings for it to work, okay that makes sense
Nice tip!
tagging big threats should be a habit for every helldiver anyways so this is great
Big targets usually just move around. Also, most of them don't take much damage at all from mortars, eg chargers, bile titans & hulks. Mortars are my least used sentries just because they are likely to just kill your teammates or yourself due to the lag time and scatter. I consider this to be among the worst of the new upgrades. The 10% reload reduction, 5% cd for stratagem reduction and larger orbital or eagle rearm are better than the last 2.
We need to be able to ping the orbital rail cannon😭
And other turrets
I want an upgrade that makes the Strategem-Ball sticky
This is a known bug and they’re working on it
@@RonaldMcDonald519only partially. Moments where it doesn't stick to the ground is intentional or particularly intentional. Its a stupid balancing act that tries to prevent you from placing equipment pods, turrets and other stuff on surfaces you "aren't supposed to reach or be on". Same for hellpods movement restrictions
The part where the ground zero of offensive stratagems doesn't change after it's ball lands is a bug
@@Damglador thanks for the info, didn’t know that
I've already tested out the 10% radius on orbitals and can say its NOTICABLE in how many more things they hit and kill. Common now that one shell can take out an entire patrol.
thank you.
Support weapon reload is the big winner here I’d say, the mortar spotting is interesting too.
I want to see someone take out a gunship with a mortar now
Oh wow. Never though of that. I don't think it's gonna work that well though.
Support reload = DPM. If you use AC, Spear, Recoilless, its a must have.
I wish the eagle rearm was cumulative, so if you have 2 call ins, it doubles, 3 it triples, etc.
You test so that I don't have to 😅
Nice video as always, cheers
I'm relatively new to this guy's stream and very new to his CZcams channel, so if you're in the same boat I will recommend him to you. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Thanks for the content.
IDK about you guys but I rarely get squads that collect rare samples, most guys rush the main objectives and call in the evac asap, it's really annoying. I don't see the point of exp since it doesn't do anything and these same guys are pretty high lvl. I'm about level 55 atm.
I'm down bro! Farming samples is way more fun than missions for me.
Chances are that will change now that there’s something to grind for. Most of us high level folks have been maxed out for so long going for samples is not always worth it especially if no one in the match is benefiting from it other than bragging rights. If I see a sufficiently lower level person or they specifically say they need samples then I will make an effort to go for them. Otherwise my normal sample gathering is to grab any I find along the way but not go OUT of my way for samples. New modules will make it so that even the highest levels have a reason to prioritize it so you’re likely to get more per game now until people max these out.
Go do lower difficulty games solo on bugs like level 4 and below you will lower players who actually want to farm ?.
Thank you for the numbers! That helps so much in determining the value of the upgrades
Every pod takes 4 seconds to reach the ground, everything else in displayed "Calling in" is artificial delay. The upgrade cuts artificial delay off and you're left just waiting for a pod to drop without any delays. I would like it to also apply to backpacks, because waiting 14 seconds for my jetpack is annoying.
I'm rushing Morale Augmentation after I dumped everything else into Payroll, and it's funny to look at stratagem cooldowns now when there's only a handful of seconds left on the timer, thinking "If I had that Module, this would be prepped already..."
You skipped Morale Augmentation in the final recap
I think im gonna pick reload time first, cant tell you how many times ive died at the last second of a reload animation. Looking at you autocannon when i accidentally deplete the ammo
I did reload support... did some bots with sniper rifle and its notable reload reducing.
I just got the 10% reload speed. Its pretty solid. RR reloads in 3.6 seconds now down from 3.9 which just makes it even smoother to rapid fire.
How the heck did you farm so fast to get TWO modules that quickly?!
If you sit on max samples, it's only really one upgrade lol.
Does the mortar targetting only kick in after deployment or is it active before deployment of the mortar? For example I ping a hulk first then call down my mortar, will it shoot the pinged hulk first or not?
i went with payroll management 1. for the reload 2. the cosmetic is really cool that this is a room now. next will be the eagle bay
I gato get that reload one ASAP also the instant call in supports should affect the resupply because why is it 15 sec?
clutch vid
Great vid
Im debating on ether getting the 5% cooldown or the 10% damage radius cannon
calm before the storm mr. Wood. calm before the storm 😆
great video
TLDW;
Payroll Mgmt
High Density Explosives
Advanced crew training
Cross platform compatibility
Streamlined Launch process (mainly EAT buff)
I think the reload upgrade will likely be my first choice. Just for those bot missions when I’m the only AC user. Might make the MG42 a little more viable in bug missions too. GITSUM!!
HMG main versus bots, loving the Payroll Management System upgrade. It just keeps getting better.
Grinding for 800 rare samples in addition to whatever else I may need is such a chore rn. As much as I want to fully upgrade I just don't care right now
i did % cdr since it effects literally everything lol
need AC sentry ping upgrade. cant tell you how many times its ignored a bile titan to shoot hive guards and warriors
👍
200$ rare samples is crazyyy for these upgrades
Disagree. We rarely get a chance to even spend the currency. Gives us at least a little something to grind out. Been sitting on max samples for months it seems.
Given how quickly you can get maxed on samples, I disagree. Was maxed out forever before this update and I now already got 2 of these new upgrades. Doesn’t take long to grind out at all.
Rare samples aren't difficult to get, you can get about 10 to 20 per mission depending on how good you are solo or in a group. It took me a day just to get all upgrades.
Luna Cam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You still don't kill what you want with the orbitals, spread is cancer. Well you can kill yourself and a teammate for sure every time. Maybe an enemy.
Wait how in the hell do you have all of them already that's wild
He plays the game for a living on stream. You should check it out!
@@felixnilsson2440 oh I know, I just thought it came out like a few hours ago so that seems wild
@@Gavo172 agreed! 😄
He doesn't. Look again. He only has 2 I think. The others say "4/5" and behind where his head is at in the video is a red box that says Insufficient Funds.
Yeah he has two, but with the sample caps, tha means he farmed 150 oranges super quick
Ugh more sample farming? I wish they would open new categories of ship modules. Any incoming players and casuals will look at that and never bother.
I went with Payroll Management just because I use reloadable support weapons a lot, just like everyone else. I mean 5% faster cool down on stratagems is nice but hardly makes a difference, I got this second. Next, going for the High density explosives but it is very limited in use because the 120mm is mostly pointless due to the CD, 380mm scatter is too large and walking barrage is just messy. Don't use mortars usually so I don't care much for that one, also quicker drops are even worse as I don't use EATs 99% of the time. Eagle rearm will be my 4th pick.
People who are mad that Streamlined Launch Process doesn’t instant transmission their weapons to the ground need to go back to school to read
Good thing all of them are bad so I dont care. Reload speed is by far the only useful one, insta unlocked it
id much rather see the eagle’s call in time be near instant when using the last one before cooldown
