Sniping a shrieker nest/spore spewer from across the map with spear is peak gaming.
It's even better when it's bile headshot or one those cannon turret towers at 300m lol
Taking shrieker nests and spore spewers is good, but it doesn't always one shot a charger or bile titan, and I think all eagles can take shrieker nests and spore spewers. The flame thrower is more consistent and good for hordes too 😅😊
@@DaaHela yeah but with eagles you are not 300+ meters away from shrieker nest
@@khamul64 Yeah I know its really helpful when someone takes them for me, but still flame thrower is more consistent and good for hordes 🙂
@@DaaHela that's why I say it's so good to finesse the bile titan headshot with spear
0:48 Man really dropped the hardest quick scope with the AMR any Automaton has ever seen and thought we wouldn't notice...
Cod if it was good:
Omg bro he flicked on him
Charger behemoth has been around for a long time. It was just very rare before and only showed up in certain locations.
very true. Always believed they are some sort of Rare Charger who just looks different. Now i think its the way around. I see 80% Behemoth Chargers and 20% normal ones.
It also was just a reskin if I remember correctly as a single anti tank head shot would kill it just as readily as a normal charger, they buffed it into a legit new enemy type when they made it more common
@@jmjon9 Correct. Before the update I only saw them defending the citizen evacuation escort objective areas, and they seemed to have the same durability as normal chargers. They definitely got a serious buff in during that major patch. You pretty much have to treat them like a charger-shaped bile-titan in terms of durability.
@@jmjon9 gotcha, didn't realize that. I know it's seem the occasional one a long time ago but didn't realize they'd buffed it as well. Thank you
@@Maggusrulz if you're in diff 7+ yeah that's the case, if you're diff 4-6 it's almost always the regular chargers
The AMR can damage factory striders too! Anywhere the Autocanon can damage them, the AMR can, too, as they both have the same armor pen value.
Yep! Mag-dumping the underside can kill it in less than 2 mags iirc
@@TotPocket I have done that quite a lot. ngl it's really fun to do it.
This. My strategy with the AMR usually starts with taking out each of the machine guns at front with 3-4 shots for each machine gun. Then I get underneath the strider to shoot the belly of the beast.
@@TotPocket And as a bonus, the recoil cant go any further up than straight vertical, so its really easy to mag dump into the belly :D
YES! But it’s even better than that. It takes out the chin mounting gatling guns in 2 shots leaving the factory strider pretty toothless. And then takes out the whole thing in about 1 mag to the eye.
Quasar easily should be moved to B tier for robots, because you can just get slapped so much by devastators or even the weakest base enemies and miss your shot due to flinch alone. I really think it should have faster start up.
Also it is great on cold planets
Charge it in cover, then pop up and shoot.
Laser cannon can solve any problem, but not quickly or easily. This makes it amazing if your teammates are bogged down elsewhere wasting time on a pointless fight. It opens up the whole map for high-mobility roaming play. Perfect for Helldive.
Edit: I don't take anything else. To clarify, I only play bots. I hear Bile Titans are an extremely specific equipment check and I have no idea if the laser cannon would pass. I agree with the sentiment that it seems designed for bots... but I have to say, when you wished you were using something else, it was probably a different weapon each time.
Yes. It's so well rounded, and there's no worry about reloads. When you ar being chased by gunships and cannot afford to have to stand still to reload your AC or miss with your EAT, it just works. It's the only enemy that let's you reliably shred any gunship patrols.
@@astrogamer927 Yeah. Ever combine it with the drop shield for gunship killing? Fish in a barrel.
@@danielbob2628 Can't believe he put flamethrower on S tier despite it's shortcomings (unkillable targets like titans and shriekers). Meanwhile the laser cannon can actually kill ALL bots but it's B tier? Holy miss.
I think its funny cuz in my opinion the laser canon is very good against many small enemys and in combo with the laser Rover its OP af like idk why people dont like it with Terminids
AMR can kill factory striders. A mag or 2 to the chest and its dead
It's over 2 mags afaik. Auto canon/HMG a lot better for fac striders
@@FrozenByFire3 I believe it's 1 and a half mags but I'm not sure. I don't think it's over 2 magazines but I'm not sure
@@FrozenByFire3no it’s about 1 2/5.
No its 3.1415 mags
It can disarm their chin guns too. 2-3 shots for each gun.
The EAT is S tear for automatons, mainly because it has a cooldown of only a minute and you get 2 of them, so if you’re in a sticky situation or there’s a bot drop, you can call them down in time to shoot down a dropship or heavy enemy. It’s even better on defense missions because you’re staying in the same location, and with it, the constant bot drops you can easily shoot down.
EAT is S tier for both, but Quasar is high for bots than bugs, with Recoilless better for bugs than bots.
EAT is also the only anti-tank that lets you take another support as well. I litter objectives with EATs or call one down when I see a charger, and pick my MG back up once I dealt with the charger or bile titan.
@@2MeterLP I call EAT as soon as shooting starts, heavy or not. If it’s off cooldown and we shooting at a pack, call EAT.
@@Dark_Tesla If you can still see the ground, you havent called enough EATs!
@@2MeterLP PREACH
I'm only level 85 or so, but this list is so freaking accurate in my experience. The only thing I'd change is maybe bump Automaton lasercannon to A tier. It essentially fills the same exact role as the AMR, but just does it slightly worse for the tradeoff of infinite ammo, one tier down feels right. But man, this list just feels spot on.
It's great with moderate to high ping too, just hold and wiggle the beam around the botheads for speedy democracy
i like laser cannon more than AMR tbh. its just easier for me when i have constant beam, see it and can move to the target. Maybe i'd like AMR more if my aim was better, but i like LC more cuz of inf ammo, constant beam, good damage and being able to kill objectives (Bot's AA system for example, or dropships at the airbase) for a few seconds.
I agree with most of this list but there are a few issues I personally have..
The MG-43 against the Terminids should be A Tier, that fact its had MEDIUM Armor pen allows it to cut chaff and higher threat bugs in half and on low to moderate rates of fire it does so very efficiently. The Stalwart also get A Tier against the bugs, if it had medium armor pen it would be the perfect weapon against the bugs, you can reload on the move, cut chaff down like your a lead farmer, it just struggles with anything medium armored.
On the bot front, both of those machine guns are D tier, just take something else.
My Bug Exterminator build is as follows:
Light Engineer Armor (+2 Nades, Recoil reduction when crouching)
BR-14 Adjudicator (I know how to use this thing and I make short work of just about everything using it, plus it reloads faster than the Tenderizer)
MG-43 MMG OR Stalwart LMG (MMG is set to Medium or Low ROF, Stalwart is set to High ROF)
Senator Revolver OR Grenade Pistol
Impact Frags
Resupply Backpack
My Tin Can Crusher Build is as follows:
Heavy Engineer Armor OR Medium Engineer Armor (I typically run heavy but sometimes you need the extra mobility)
R-163 Diligence Counter Sniper OR AR-63 Tenderizer (Both are good, with the Tenderizer you NEED to land headshots to make the most of it, and run it in SEMI-AUTO ONLY)
Anti-Material Rifle (this ALWAYS gets paired with the Resupply Backpack), pretty much like the video says, there is not much the tin cans can throw at you that you can't answer back with the AMR.
P-113 Verdict (This gun SUCKS against the Bugs, but against the tin cans, its fantastic, just aim for the heads and fire away, its saved my ass more times than I care to count)
Impact Frags OR Stun Grenades (if you go stun grenade you NEED to have something to take out bot factories as a stratagem)
Resupply Backpack
The reason why I don't run an Auto-Cannon is the backpack slot issue, unless you have a friend carry it for you that sticks to you like glue and gives you on demand reloads.
the standard machine gun is a beast with the new armor that boost the ergonomic stats on the bug front.
It literally controls better than the Stalwart (without that armor buff obviously).
The machine guns are just in the right spot IMO.
- Stalwart is the best to clear off chaff (so it shines for bugs but not for bots)
- HMG is the best to kill heavy/high hp units because of that high penetration (so perfect for bots but not as much for bugs)
- MG-43 is the in between that can do everything well enough (better on the bugs side but still passable on the bots one).
Mg 43, imo is the best of the three. It can go through medium armor and does insane damage. The only downside is reloading, but even then, just get about 20 feet away from bugs and reload and dodge if they get too close to you.
Agreed. Stalwart is nice, but standing in front of a bile spewer with a Stalwart makes you really miss the MGs medium armor penetration.
People who tend to hate on the Standard MG have either never used it or are just dumbasses it’s by far the best of the machine guns and if you position yourself properly as good players should it reload time is negligible. Remember your players Helldivers not CoD
@2MeterLP bro fr. I hate them things.
@@2MeterLP gotta bring an eruptor or explosive crossbow. That's all I run now with all the bile spewers lately. Medium pen feels solid on the crossbow
@@NPC.......... Pretty sure everyone hates bile spewers.
Lately jve been seeing people use the flamethrower more than the auto canon the last weeks or so I’ve barley seen anyone brjng the auto canon and I’m glad cause it shows the weapon balancing is working
If you talking bout the bugs it's mostly just due to the crazy amount of chargers spawned and flamethrower is the most effective to take em out
Absolutely. It kills just about everything except biles titans
If you want the effect of the Airburst Rocket, just take Eagle Cluster Strike. Its does the same but better. Bigger area, same amount of uses, same "reload" speed except you dont have to kneel, and it doesnt take a backpack or support weapon slot.
Thanks for the rankings, i gotta try some of these out.
literally the most positive helldivers vid that's come out in a while, glad to see someone isn't being a doomer and knows weapons work totally fine.
Legit. If you listen to most online opinions the game is impossible unless you run specific loadouts.
The reality is that there isn't a single loadout that can't complete helldive.
For bugs the grenade launcher should be moved up to S tier. The autocannon and stalwart should be switched having the ability to use a supple pack is too good.
My two cents, if you need a supply pack more often than the called drop, you need target practice.
@@SuperDuperHappyTime unless it's the grenade launcher/HMG which really need a supply pack because of the low amount of ammo.
without it, you really nerf yourself on those weapons IMO.
But yeah, otherwise, most weapons really dont need a supply pack.
It can be nice especially if you use a primary that also use a lot of ammo (like the tenderiser or the plasma shotty) but it's certainly not necessary.
I dont know why but the laser canon on Terminids is so good but everyone says its ass like in my opinion its great for swarms cuz yes its bad against anything with armor but I got my 500kgs for that anyway and the combo of the laser canon with the laser rover is actually pretty OP and SHREDS through swarms in less then seconds and ngl in my opinion its just way better and more fun k*lling organic beings with it as it shows more strength in how good it is like ngl its underrated
Enjoying your content so far. Informative with objective points to support your opinion. keep it up!
The only time I've found the laser cannon useful is when you pair it with the sickle. Their cool downs are timed to where you can swap back and fourth and NEVER have to stop shooting. For the terminids you focus on the trash bugs when your sickle is out, and then when its time to swap you use the laser cannon to clean up some of the higher armored units like the hive guard and brood commanders.
Great tier list. Thank you for sharing.
Grenade Launcher is the best Anti-Bot-Drop weapon. Dropshop hovering above, just pump nades into it and watch the scrap rain down
hey, love your videos. I've been finding them super helpful and enjoyable. Just wondering, could you do an up to date tier list for primary weapons? If not, that's alright. Thank you and keep up the great work!
4:14 AMR is one of the quickest ways to kill a factory strider, break off front machine guns and it takes 1 1/2 clips from the AMR to the under belly to fully kill one, takes less than 10 seconds
Airburst is my favorite when doing egg missions you can sometimes shoot one rocket clear whole nest like 100m out its so satisfying but thats the only time i use it lol
If Airburst had fire or gas it would be better
The flame thrower is the number 1 weapon against bugs, the spear is only good for heavies and the devs made them spawn less now
I use it mostly to cross map bases, saves you from unnecessary fights and saves time
@@miguelberetta7887 Yeah i knoow it can take shrieker nests and other things, but it can't one shot a charger consistently and bile titans, the flame thrower is consistent and good for hordes too 😺
@@DaaHela oh I meant for automatons, I haven't played bugs in awhile
Spear users pay for themselves if they clear the towers and pump damage into titans. If they want face shots all they have to do is run turrets, EMS and stun grenades.
@LrdBxRck good point, even though I try to be well rounded. I'm playing a specific role in the group that allows my team to do other things
i recently bought eruptor and paired with stalwart with 1150rpm and it absolutely shreds terminids theres nothing that can stop me even on high difficulties, definetly try it out
that was my favorite build before they removed shrapnel. its still good just im playing more bots know and dont use it as much.
eruptor/stalwart was my goto loadout until they nerfed it... stopped using the eruptor after that..
I'm using crossbow with stalwart and it's pretty good you should try it if you got the warbond. Faster fire rate definitely helps
@@PopePlatinumBeats if you havent tried it recently, it's honestly pretty good now. I still miss the shrapnel but the dmg is enough to do a pretty solid job to kill the heavier/higher hp unit while still proving that support capability to clear off those nest/frabricator from a long distance. And in a pinch, it's really not bad to clear off the small bugs (1 shot can usually kill 4-5 of those smaller one, maybe 2 shots for the same amount of the hunters since they are never really grouped up close enough).
nice vid man !
The spear is a bit overrated imo but a good weapon overall. You have to be careful about your distance, positioning, and your ammo when it comes to most targets. Half the time, it’ll take you two shots for hulks or bile titans because the projectile slightly misses the head, even if youre shooting from a distance. It’s great for destroying those big guys but also limited in its one and only job. Still like the weapon but as a certified pyromaniac, I’ll stick to my flamethrower (or HMG for bots)
I'm so glad the spear and the HMG are genuinely good now. I liked them before, but the downsides were huge. Now they're fantastic and so far I have yet to play an op without the HMG
fellow hmg main - big bullets strong together!
13:41 Holy luck diving, I thought you were going in the drink there.
Where is the Break Action Shotgun? 😂
Burst rocket launcher is a fun rocket launcher. You bring it for fun. Fun is good.
I take the GL on every mission and most of the time I top out the number of kills. Combined with a rocket sentry for the heavies and the ammo backpack the GL just shredded massive number of anything. No way it's C tier on bots or a on Bugs.
I'm a sucker for the rail gun. When you get it going it's awesome
Really good list, honestly
I've been loving the laser cannon on bugs, it shreds charger legs and fodder.
Airburst has always been cool to me because it feels like you have a portable stratigem. Normally when I am going into an abiective I like to throw in some strats to clear enemies and prevent a breach or drop, but airburst can clear them without wasting that strat
LOL! Both the MG-43 and the Stalwart are S-Tier.
The fact that you say otherwise renders this entire video null and void.
note: the airburst rocket launcher is REALLY GOOD against defence campaings
Laser cannon is one of the top tier weapons against bots. Kills machine guns under strider head within second and can kill it under the striders under belly weak spot, has unlimited ammo if you aren’t a shit player with it and can manage it (don’t use on hot planets really, use on any other planet especially cold). Can take out gunships, hulks, really any bot enemy. Can combo with a jump pack to land on a tank and laser the weak spot. It’s GOATED
10k subs?? I never realised how underrated you are
we basically have the same exact list, like it's creepy. subbed
HMG I feel is so well rounded against bugs. You take on structures, can dmg bile titans under their necks (after breaking the sacs), and hoard clear.
I’ve been using flamethrower since I unlocked it against the bugs, and yes it doesn’t care for the most part about armor points…however u feel the difference between regular chargers and the behemoth chargers…it’s almost like it started caring 😂
The autocannon is the lovexhild between the AMR and the recoilless, and I love both weapons to a t.
The laser cannon is amazing. I’m not hating, but I think it’s a skill issue on ur side. Laser cannon takes 0.5 seconds to take out a devastators, 2 seconds for hulks, a single mag per strider to the face. Doesn’t require ammo either.
I feel like everyone ranks this lower than I would. I use it all the time and it feels very strong to me. Saws off legs fast, melts weak points. Just aim at the right spots and it’s a beast.
@@ReignSurvives yeah, it just requires a tad bit of such a rare substance by the name of “skill”
@@ordinary_person2000 Unlike the flamethrower that can't kill specific bugs (titan, shriekers, maybe spewers), the laser cannon can actually kill ALL BOTS. So it being B tier is a massive skill issue. I'd argue las cannon is SSS tier for being the only weapon that can deal with all targets (against bots).
I used to run Quasar/Sickle vs ze bugz. Now I'm a fanboy of Flamethrower/Breaker Incendiary. I also replaced Eagle Airstrike with Napalm, because I can easily down chargers with the flamethrower and Napalm is perfect for dropping on breaches and killing 20+ bugs in a single streak withour breaking a sweat. And for titans I'm still using 500 kg. Shield backpack, +2 nades armor, explosive impact nades and nade pistol and I'm pretty much good to go. The only downside is I can no longer finish secondary objectives from across the map, but my kill counts went from 200 on the average to more like 400. Both builds are still cool though, depends on what you're in the mood for.
I am always surprised when people mention reload time as a downside with assisted reload weapons, it takes very little time to destroy whatever you intend to destroy if someone is loading you, saving time for both of you
Are you going to do a primary weapon tier list
Yes plz
I feel like the railgun still has one major advantage for clunkers, that is of course... popin' devies like grapes.
I ve try the airburst rocket launcher on several mission ans it’s good against bugs especially when holding a position. You can spawn kill every little bug from a distant and let just your team finish the armored ennemies. It also deletes small bug patrols so it’s a power full tool too better manage bug breeches.
All things considering the primary gun I like to take against the box are is All ready to ammo hungry. That's why I like to take the quasar when it comes to the bop front. Bugs I even get more insane with stems being the only thing I really need due to the loadout of Blitzer quasar and guard dog Rover.
Also the laser cannon and Scyth combo is insane. Got my first 1k kills with that cause you can literary shoot the whole game through. Just gotta know your movement
very solid list. I would have swap a couple of things 1 tier above or lower but nothing major.
Spear targeting was never broken. Before you had to have to WHOLE enemy in your targeting circle; now its just the center of mass. It didn't get fixed, it got buffed.
Your Channel is a gidden gem, keep up the good work ❤
Edit// A video like this about the Primarys would be dope asf, especially after these patches, all the other youtuber videos are outdated
Laser canon being so low on automatons is crazy to me tbh
As someone who used to be an AMR main, I recently just switched to maining las canon once roaming gunships came into play. Sure, the TTK is slightly lower on hulks with the las canon, but the ammo economy combined with how quickly it shreds gunships easily make it my go to automaton stratagem now, especially when I’m running the counter sniper.
Sure the scope is kinda ass, but pair a las canon with stun grenades and hulks become a complete non-issue
I would personally rank it as high A tier on bots, and perhaps biased-ly a low S tier just cause it’s super satisfying to use 😂
The laser cannon is literally the flamethrower for the bots, I have no clue why he couldn't see that. Flamer can't kill titans nor shriekers, and even lackluster for spewers. Meanwhile the laser cannon can actually kill ALL BOTS yet it's in B tier.
I like running Quasar on cold planets now that the recharge rate is fixed. It actually recharge decently fast.
I’ve found that all the anti tanks are doing pretty good on both front. Particularly the eats because you can use them at the same time as another support weapon.
Laser canon is just as strong as the other weapons you put in bot S tier imo. It drops devastators in less that a second. Destroys gunships better than anything else. Sunergizes well with laser primaries to keep damage constantly going.
AMR is effective against striders. I always strip the chainguns on the head and suddenly the strider is way less scary to the team. Then just shoit the eye or the belly and strider is done, but i usually just strip it feom the guns and let all the strikes people usually call down on them to finish it.
The prime utility of the airburst is the team wipe
Talking from many hours of experience, stalwart is still really solid against automatons, definitely not D tier. The only things the stalwart can't kill in the automaton lineup are the heavily armored stuff, because with devastators the stalwart can actually kill with headshots, which means that it actually has a surprisingly high amount of usability against them.
I just can’t stop taking the Spear in a 4 stack. It’s so comfy with the better targeting. The MG sentry with the lower CD is much fun to plop down at the start of a fight. It will take out a ton of chaff then be ready to go two minutes later.
I like the Airburst vs Automotons. Since it blows up over them it can kill all boys scout striders and sometimes kill devestators or atleast blow off their parts.
I would put Quasar a little lower against terminids. I guess that's a skill issue, I don't have balls to stand there and wind it up while a charger is, well, charging me haha
Quasar is the most overrated weapon in the game.
Firing your Quasar right at the charger's head and dodging 0,1 sec before it hits you is the most adrenaline packed activity I can imagine in this game. It's literally a game of chicken.
The railgun is pretty good for finishing off a behemoth leg that's been hit by one of the AT rocket launchers
Behemoths were the charger you would get when taking the lower difficulty kill(insert enemy type) missions
Fully agree with this whole list
Spear, Blitzer and Grenade Pistol has been my bug loadout lately.
you’re sleeping on the arc thrower for bugs, it 6 shots chargers to the head and is on par with the flamethrower for ad clear. It also has stagger which makes it great for bile spewers and can finish off bile titans after a rail cannon or 110mm. Should at least be A tier but I’d put it in S
I've a sudden urge to pilot in the Urby Derby
Ranking EAT, Queso, and RR as one thing is crazy work.
The thing that pisses me off is that there are many youtube videos where people can reload an RPG faster than a helldiver can reload the cluster rockets without effort too, like wtf do they insert the rocket in slow motion in-game
Ok, Railgun is a lot of fun to play against Terminids right now and can strip Armor off of Chargers and kill BTs, move to the top of B tier. AMR kills Factory Striders just fine, but it may take 1 and a half mags. Laser cannon with shield pack moves it to the bottom of S-tier on Automatons. Autocannon needs to drop down to the top of A tier because it isn't ammo efficient against structures but can eventually kill them. Railgun completely falls off against Gunships and Factory striders, I can't use it on that front until it gets more changes.
"Railgun is a lot of fun to play against Terminids right now and can strip Armor off of Chargers and kill BTs"
Fun is one thing, but efficient is another, so I dont know...
I would have agree before, but not so much since the charges to patrols. There's a lot more chargers now, and you needs 3 shots just to strip their legs armor of a behemoth (or something like 6 shots to blow it's head) which is just too much time and effort IMO.
Even on the bile titan, you need something like 12+ max charge on it's heads... So, it's hard to justify on the bug side (especially when you only have 21 shots total) other than it's fun (which isnt exactly the point of the tier list)
"Autocannon isn't ammo efficient against structures"
I have never run out of ammo with it (especially when the superior packing methodology is working). Unless you use like it's your only weapon you have (so no primary and no secondary), you should never really run out of ammo. The small ammo pack give enough to never really have to worry about it.
Im also not sure what you mean by "structures" exactly? Spore/shreiker nest? Yeah, it's not the autocannon job to take those out. You should have 3 other stratagems slots to help with that. You can even use a HMG sentry if you wanted xD They really dont impact the performance of a weapon IMO.
Hi Helldivers, the Plasma Shotgun will never disappoint
I won't stand for this arc thrower slander against bugs. It isn't S tier but it's definitely A tier. Shoot the closest target and once you get the charge down pat, you can rapid fire it pretty quick. Takes about 8 shots to a chargers head to kill it, and its very easy to avoid friendly fire, just don't have your teammate on the other side of a target or any arc target, shooting a bug to the left or right of somebody is completely safe. The stun is godly and I can lock down a bug breach and not have to move back at all. Can 2 tap nursing spewers, 3 to 4 tap normal spewers. Only problem is close combat right at your feet, and that's why you dive back or just swap to the blitzer. Its great
I would switch grenade Launcher/Autocannon spots on Terminids but otherwise agree with you on most everything.
Quasar cannon does not suffer from damage drop off due to distance like the EAT and Recoiless
on bug runs...i run the heavy machine gun and ammo backpack with the Physique buff armor.. + inced. Breaker for the trash and i am unstoppable
A correction and a few disagreements, otherwise I agree!
The Airburst, its actually better vs bots! If you hit tanks and turrets at the right place, its possible to oneshot them by having the cluster projectiles hit the weak point! Similarly its possible for fabricators and hulks too. But it needs to be right spot, so it becomes very skill dependent and that limits it, I would say B tier bots if you know how, but its worthless against gunships so C tier is fair.
MG43 doesn't need to head shot devastators and can kill striders, placing at D bots seems harsh?
The Spear being S ahead of the flamethrower? It can kill bile titans and structures, but even with 4 shots it can be lacking, considering its not guaranteed 1 hit kill.
The Laser cannon, shouldn't it be A at least on bots? I think its feedback and visibility is really bad for the wielder, so I wouldn't give it high marks either, but it can kill factory striders and gunships without consuming ammo.
The Arc Thrower is my go to Support Weapon, and as much as I love it, I completely agree with the B tier assessment.
The rail gun is s tier against bot because on SAFE mode it can one shot every single thing that walks decent damage on bot tanks and great against airships
the Laser Cannon has the same base damage as the Scythe primary. 350 Damage per second. it does 200 damage to Durable parts tho and has AP4. its unlimited ammo and perfect long range accuracy are balanced by a terrible scope, obscuring visual effects, complete lack of stagger, slowdown while firing, and in comparison to its AP4 competition (HMG, AC, AMR), lackluster DPS.
I think it needs a buff.
The sniper is minimum A tier if there are spewers, one shot head shot they die plus if you got the ammo shrieker nest can be taken out quite easy from a far distance. Combine it with the stun nade killing chargers is pretty easy. Bille titans is possible but uses alot off ammo and u kinda have to dance under it but I feel like if you master the sniper and there is spewers it's A-S tier. You could argue the auto Canon is the AMR on steroids but I like I don't have to stand and load the AMR
Putting OG machinegun that low in the bot side is a crime.
It can plow through med armored enemies and that is majority in the higher level.
You can't keep us Airburst enjoyers down. There are dozens of us. Dozens!
some automatons units don't even take damage from the flamethrower
So are we gonna do this major order or nah
Autocannon stay goated 💪🏼💪🏼
Your placement of AMR on Bugs really confused me considering your justification for the AC was exactly the same thing the AMR can do.
Only the AMR actually one shots Brood commander and Bile Spewer heads, pops Charger butts in just over one mag. And while the backpack of the AC isn't a huge drawback, it does come with a stationary reload and the lack of the other backpacks like shield gen and jetpack which can make AMR even more crazy.
And just, a few other things that seemed odd to me, idk why:
The HMG is super effective against Bile Titans, better than it is against Chargers as you can pop the chest and then the belly bile sacks in 2 or 3 bullets each, then put about half a mag into the rear end where the guts were and the whole back of the body breaks off, killing the Titan instantly.
The weird momentum thing is, while yes very weird, actually very very consistent. If you are not beyond 50 meters and are walking forward when your shot goes off, your Eat/RR/Quasar shot will instantly strip the Behemoth's leg, or one shot it entirely if you shoot above it's Butt behind the largest scale on it's back.
And the arc thrower, well... I mean I don't think it deserves D Tier vs bots, it ain't THAT bad if you actually use cover like you do with every other gun, because really the bots clump up more than the bugs since they normally don't even move, they just stand in a cluster and shoot, or march in a firing line.
That's all I think.
Actually
Flamethrower: Trash on bots, but when I drop with no support weapons (low level for funsies) I do mess with one if I find it. It's bad sure, but it does have a weird.. "effectiveness"?
It can kill scout walkers in a similar way to a scorcher, and the constant literal firing seems to make the bots innacurate as I used it in desperation against a Heavy Dev and he missed a majority of his shots, and while I messed up and wasted most of my flame on his shield, a switch to the left melted off his gun arm in a single second.
It also saved my ass during extraction (I was solo during this mission) as I was able to use first person to sort of aim my right-sided flamer around the bend of the wall and blow flames down a corridor, covering the ground and filling it, annihilating all Troopers and baking devastators before they could even make way. Not even berserkers could make it up the slope.
It definitely has a way different use against bots, much more suited as a close range defensive play and area denial weapon to be used to cover the ground for light damage to bot legs to soften them for your guns, or indirect fire around corners to damage a horde of bots as everything smaller than a Hulk (except Heavy Devs) have thin frames in comparison to bugs, allowing you to actually damage a crowd all at once.
It might just be me but honestly the spear is my new personal number 1 sup weapon in the game. I cant begin to say how satisfying it is to shoot any target let it be a shrieker nest, a spore spewer or a bot factory from across the entire map and be done with it.
Autocannon S tier vs Terminids??
How many chargers and bile titans have you killed using AC?
Jump pack is goated
You can take out Striders solo with the HMG.
What the flamethrower is to bugs is what the laser cannon is to bots. I soloed 5 hulks with the laser cannon. Unlike the flamer that can't kill shriekers, the laser cannon is best for gunships. It being on B tier is a huge skill issue. Can't believe you recognized the flamethrower but not the laser cannon.
I prefer MG-43 over Stalwart for bugs. Stalwart is awesome horde clear, but standing in front of a bile spewer REALLY makes you miss that medium armor penetration.
And its surprisingly good against chargers! Set to max fire rate, throw a stun grenade and shove half a magazine up the chargers backside.
New weapon handling armor is so good for flamethrower too. You'd think why does it matter for a weapon which doesn't require aim... But damn quickly 180 degree cover and set ground on flame is so good. And I live pick dominator for bile spewers.
@@Theydas I find Blitzer will save your life in more cases
I hated using the dominator since even if it's stats are amazing, the slow sway and moving around was painful to use (same with the counter sniper before they buffed it).
But with the new armor that boost the ergonomics, it's actually so awesome.
Same with the normal machine gun. It literally controls better than the stalwart which made me want to use it.
it's a game changer for a lot of weapons.
#1 for bots is autocannon
#1 for bugs is flamethrower
#1 primary for bots is dominator
#1 primary for bugs is incendiary shotgun
Small corrections: The AMR and Autocannon have the same armor penetration. Both can damage Factory Striders in the exact same spots.
The Autocannon can only "damage" Bile Titans by shooting them in the goo sacks, which any weapon in the game (including pistols) can do.
I'm not aware of any momentum-based tricks that allow the rocket launchers to kill Charger Behemoths in one shot. However, moving forward (even slowly) while firing lets you destroy their _leg armor_ in one hit. This isn't super hard to do, but the wobbling of your reticle can make you miss the shot every now and then.
Unlike your own prediction at the end of the video, I think almost all of your rankings are really spot-on and mirror my own.
The only one I disagree with is the Spear: In my experience, one-shot kills against any of the highly armored enemies are _extremely_ inconsistent, the ammo capacity of 4 shots is very limiting, and at close ranges, it'll usually miss the target entirely. I easily prefer any of the rocket launchers over it against bugs, while on the bot side, it's more of a toss-up.
I agree .
Since they changed the laser cannon to what it is now, I have used it most of the time against both bots and bugs. With the peak physique armors, the laser cannon becomes a pinpoint sniper and kills faster. The sway goes away which means the damage is dealt more consistently and thus kills faster.
is it better to use the new armor that boost the ergonomic?
Maybe im crazy, but at least before, it felt a bit better to use when I was running the armor that boost the recoil.
It would sway a bit less which made it easier to kill stuff like hulks or to snipe at long distance.
But if the new armor helps with that, I'll have to give it a try!
@@StephaneLevs the new armor def helps more. Standing it's like crouching, crouching is like being prone and prone is crazy.
@@xxthewarlord1530xx damn, that's awesome!
