You read that right: our new new shop truck is DONE! Well, done enough to bring it to FuelFest that is. Our 2JZ swapped Ford F-150 Lightning runs, drives, AND has a fresh paint job… all in record time. For us, that is. So what’s left to do? Stuff it with boxes and re-film the scene that kicked this project off in the first place.

I’ve had a motorcycle tank at a paint shop for over two months now. Never knew or heard of paint jail but I believe it.
Mate go get it,you can do it yourself as long as you don't want anything 2 fancy,rattle can but not what your thinking.i can Tell u the products to use.
@Zombie Detective i mean...maybe a late 2nd or 3rd year apprentice at least. Might be small but most tanks are one continuous curve and one of, if not the most prominent part of of a paintjob on a bike.
Granted, it definitely should have been done by now. Even considering time to bake, harden up a little and buffing it could be done in a day, easy. Unless its some custom job needing loads of flake or airbrushing/pinstriping.

There is no back to scoot in a regular cab. I don't fit in those, plus I don't like sitting at a 90 degree angle while I'm driving. It's uncomfortable and people look like a dork driving.
My mom used to put the seat in my Acura all the way forward, and I almost got fired one day because the fuse for the seat blew after she had put it all the way forward, and I had to steal the fuse from her Mercedes to get mine working again (but not before I put her seat as far down and back as possible with the seat back laying flat, and the steering wheel super close to the dash and tilted up.
I’m distrustful any time a Hoonigan project is labeled as “done”.

500/600hp is the sweet spot right now. You can build a ton of engines to this power level and they will stay fairly reliable. 1000hp is great fun when the engine is working but you are going to break something sooner than later.
It's so awesome that you guys recreated that scene. I just watched the original fast and furious last night and when I saw that scene it reminded me that y'alls was done and that I needed to watch this today you guys are great keep up the good works

Having worked in a paint shop for the last 4 years, I can attest to what Hert said. Most people have no idea what it takes to paint a car. They think it's just a quick scuff, cover the windows and spray some paint on it.
Other than the seats, I would’ve gave the interior a factory stock look that way I’d surprise more people when I take it places but still cool asf guys
