My lovely Spain. The weather is nice, but the people are even better xx
Spain is one of my bucket list countries, I'm gonna visit! Especially Andalusia, I am in loove with the sun, beaches, wine, 🍷 food, cities, history! Such a masterpiece on earth! Greetings from Greece ❣️🥰🌞
Kalispera :)
Nerja definitely deserves its place on this list. My Partner and myself has been there a few times and we both love it. So beautiful it’s my favourite holiday so far. It’s gorgeous. Love Nerja ❤️
Denia is lovely. Throughly recommended as a relaxing holiday destination and to enjoy the Spanish culture.
You mentioned two of my favorites: Alicante and Calpe! (I will add to the list "Playa de Gandia", "Santander" and "La Manga".)
My sister is just back from Calpe & she adored it!!
Nerja for sure would be on this list for me, But I would include Tarifa, Peñíscola, Tarragona and Soller in my top 5 :)
God bless us I like it very beautiful and relaxing place. Very nice to travel around the world together my family, friends and relatives. In God all things are possible po. Thanks and regards to all of you there in your country. Thank you so much po. From Lani D. Nepomuceno, Cagsawa ruins, Busay, Daraga, Albay Philippines
Next time I visit Spain or hopefully will end up living there I want to visit all the places on the video, they are beautiful. Barcelona is one of my favourite cities in the whole world and a beautiful place I visited was Tossa de Mar. And I absolutely adore Estrella (Spanish Beer).
I am sure you will love these towns! :)
Estrella Galicia or estrella Levante?
First one :)
I lived and worked in Moraira..I love the place 😎
Very beautiful and peaceful town
We are just back from a wonderful holiday on Moraira based on your recommendation!
I am glad my video is useful and you liked Moraira! :)
Congratulations for your national holiday on 12 October Spain from your friends in Germany
Big thank you from Spain!
I'm glad that I found this video. We hve a cruise in 2024 that makes multiple stops in Spain. All of the cities look great except Motril. No I know that I can get to Nerja from Motril's cruise port in less than an hour. Thank you for this video!
Glad that to hear this! Enjoy your cruise!
Having been to Spain 3 times, there are 3 on your list that I would love to visit: Alicante, Nerja and Moraira, I know Nerja is close to Malaga and I have visited Malaga but didn't get time to visit Nerja but I'm pretty sure we drove past it on our way to Granada from Torremolinos
I defenitely recommend to visit Alicante, Nerja and Moraira. You can visit Moraira when visiting Alicante as it is only one hour drive from Alicante
Excellent video and locution... Impecable voice clarity. Smooth and sweet. Beautiful video shots. Congrats !!!!
Thank you, Carlos! Glad you liked it! Best wishes!
Thanks for this interesting and very useful information with lovely photos . I think if you wanted to add the sixth most interesting town in Spain 🇪🇸 you would have seriously considered the beautiful town of Estepona . Can you do a video about Estepona please . Thanks 🙏
Thank you! I wil visit Estepona in April :)
Last time I was there in 2021, check my Estepona walk:

Tarifa is one of my favourites
I'm staying in Alacante November for 3 weeks..excited
You will like it! :)
informative video beautiful place
Thank you!
Amazing Video, Love Spain!! 😍
Thank you! Indeed, Spain is amazing 🙂
I lived in ALICANTE - God I love that place. I my heart there years ago….I’ve never been the same
Thank you, forDenia Moreira and CalPe
My pleasure! :)
Nice Towns ❤❤❤
reguest Malaga city please 🙂
I live in Altea Spain for 21 years and travelled through all 17 districs since 1973. San Sebastian, Peñíscola, Puerto Andraitx (Mallorca), Puerto Blanco (Lanzarote), Altea, Vilajoyosa, Tarifa and Cadiz I find more attractive than for instance Calpe and Denia.
Tastes are different. In my opinion some of downsides of Cadiz and Tarifa are that they are windy and the ocean is cold. The micro-climate in Denia and Calpe is considered one of the best in the world. One thing is for sure, food is better in Cadiz and Tarrifa :)
@@PlacesandBeaches That sounds plausible, water temperature and wind can indeed be a factor. But my wife and I also take over populated beaches in high season as a negative aspect.
Yes, this is another downside of coastal towns. Actually all coastal towns in Europe seem to be busy in the hot season, for obvious reasons - tourists :)
Love Nerja!!!!!
Best decision in my life ❤️
This video should be called top 5 most tourist coastal towns of Spain.
A good video for us would in particular be for retirement (we are legal residents and have been for 15 years) We're looking for affordable cost of living (under 1,000€ to include Costa Braca towns and villages. Also further south Murcia right around Costa del Sol. HOWEVER 😊 Doesn't have to be coastal, inland towns and villages would be extremely interesting. There's always too much on the coastal thing. I just discovered your videos, which I think are great! Thank you so much 🙏
Thank you! Will consider your suggestion. :)
Very great country
Indeed
Awesome, What cities have the bull fighting?
What city has the tomato festival?
The tomato festival is in Pamplona. As for bull fighting, I don't know. To me this is cruel, people have fun watching how bulls are suffering.
Nice video. It would be nice to see the location of each town on a map.
Thank you for you suggestion. I will keep this in mind for my next top videos.
Good video -- the problem is that 4 of these towns are all next to each other and you should be looking all over Spain as well as Mallorca when you have the budget.
Thank you for your comment! I have visited 90% of the coastal towns in Spain, including north, south, west and east, this is my top 5 coastal towns. I will definitely make other tops too, such as top ten, top beaches, top cities in Spain, etc. and will include other towns too
@@PlacesandBeaches When you plan, I am happy to suggest .....
OK, I will let you know. Thank you! :)
We do, 🌹❤️💞
Calpe 😍😍
alicante and denia i like the best jx
Great share👍👍👍 ciao from italia 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Gratie mile! :) Ciao
Me gusta mucho
Gracias! Feliz ano nuevo!
Nerja is ❤️
Spain also has an Atlantic coast with lovely towns (Santander, San Sebastian). Spain also has islands (Balearic, Canaries) but you would never guess this from the video. The comments on the 5 coastal towns are banal and cliché-ridden. Also the same images accompany comments on two different towns!
I will make more videos like this where I will include towns from regions mentioned by you. This video is referring more to mainland Spain. Towns in northern Spain are to rainy and cold. I will include cities such as San Sebastian, Bilbao, etc. in my top ten cities in Spain, but this video is about coastal towns which are good to relocate to or visit all year around. As for "the same image accompany comments on two different towns" what minute do you refer too?
So make one yourself
@@PlacesandBeaches don't even reply to haters :) btw I love Estepona, been there many times during the years but loved to discover also those places you've been mentioning here, nice video, thank you for sharing your experiences :)
Max, Yes Estepona is gorgeous, it has a special vibe. I've been there last year. Will definitely visit this town again. Thank you for your support, Max! Best wishes!
Las palmas???? The 8 town of spain
Top 5 coastal towns in Spain you say ! Yet 4 of them are all within a few miles of Alicante. What about the rest of Spain ?
Yes, 4 of them are within 100 kilometers range. Other towns will be included in my next Top 10 coastal towns in Spain video
Thank you for the great effort you put to make these videos. I’m planning to invest in real estate at one of the coastal towns in Spain. Which town would you suggest me ?
Thank you for the good words! It depends on what you like, your age, what weather you like, what country you are from, your budget, the type of real estate you want to invest in, etc. If you would give a bit more details, I could give you much more precise information :)
@@PlacesandBeaches I’m 35, married and settled in China(coz my wife is Chinese). I’m from India. I want to invest in a few European countries with a high roi. My wife love beaches. So I was just looking on Alicante.
Yes, Alicante would be perfect for you as it has all the advantages of a city, such as an airport, shopping, restaurants, festivals, museums, nightlife, etc. Check my walking tour videos below to have a better idea about Alicante:
czcams.com/video/n8CXLmnBFLU/video.html
czcams.com/video/UTht1tinEaA/video.html
To me Calpe is the best in the area, but is much smaller (30K population) and more relaxed, also real estate is generally more expensive than in Alicante. :)
I live in Alicante
Villa Yoyosa is mye favourite🙏
czcams.com/video/3aeSNV1Rwbw/video.html
Alicante is for me #1
Nice places, but you definitely need to visit Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 🇪🇦😍👌🏻
Will do! :) Thank you for your suggestion!
Las Palmas is si beautiful
Musea art music... sport
Las canteras beach and carnaval is like Rio
If you are done 'touring' Spain check out Rota!
Wonderful video, full watched
Thanks! :)
Santander has a good mid-coast location with water access and fresh seafood. And several dozen of relatives.
Have lived in Cantabria for one month, a beautiful region. The food is amazing :)
@@PlacesandBeaches I have about 6 months with family. We would make a trip to friends and family in several places across Spain and Portugal. I love Spain spainandP
We have about 6 months over Spain and one trip to Fatima in Portugal. I love both but we have limited time in Portugal but we drove from Madrid to Fatima and on to Santiago de Compestella.
Indeed, Spain is amazing! It has everything, like a small world :)
Which place would you most recommend on this list if relocating to Spain with 3 kids, 12, 9 and 5years? Love Denia but if others would be better would love to know your recommendation 😊
This is a hard question but, from my point of view is Calpe! Best place for you and your kids. I would recommend to try it for a month or two first :)
I'm split between Calpe and Altea. Although they're just next to each other. I don't have kids but I love hiking and cycling.
I would choose Altea. In my opinion Calpe is not a good value for money anymore. In the last year the prices doubled compared to neighboring towns, the crime rate is higher, there are many tall buildings being built at the moment. Altea is more authentic
Villajoyosa 🧡
I will post Villajoyosa next Saturday :)
I liked this, but it would be so much better with a map shot at the beginning.
Will keep that in mind for future videos! Thank you for your suggestion!
Alicante
Denia
Moraira
Nerja
Calpe
Sitges, Cadaqués & St Feliu de Guíxols ... 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
What about Tossa de Mar?
Tossa de Mar is mentioned here :)
czcams.com/video/5sKc9r6LK0Q/video.html
Torrevieja must come a close 6th 💞💞
OK :)
nice video !! suscribed !!
Thanks
Marbella all the way
WHAT IS NICE ABOUT SPAIN THE WEATHER IN GENERAL IS NICE AND THE WATER IS WARM AS IT IS THE MEDITERANEE IN PORTUGAL IT IS HE ATLANTIC THEREFORE THE WATER IS VERY COLD EVEN DURING SUMMER NOT SO MUCH IN THE ALGARVE VERY TOURISTIC
Yeah, but these coastal towns are all in the same small area of Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol. There are many, many other coastal towns that are as good, if not better, further north on the Mediterranean, the Atlantic side, and the Cantabrian side; not counting all the coastal towns in the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.
There are many other beautiful coastal towns in Spain. I will add 5 more towns in my next top 10 coastal towns in Spain video. Thank you for your comment!
These people do not know Spain, they missed the coasts of Catalonia, Euskadi, Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia, Cadiz, Granada, Almeria, and Murcia. In other words, they got nine out of eleven, not to mention the Baleric and Canary Islands.
I have traveled everywhere you have mentioned and this is my top 5 coastal towns. I will definitely include the islands and the northern part in another top of my favourite places. By the way you can check some cities mentioned by you in my previous videos.
😂😂😂😂😂 No has pisado Galicia en tu vida.
I have visited the northern part too, it is gorgeous. Galicia is most of the time rainy, that is why it is not included in this video. I will definitely add it to my other top videos.
Tossa de Mar is not here?..
It is here :)
czcams.com/video/5sKc9r6LK0Q/video.html
And Benidorm?
Benidorm is here :)
czcams.com/video/BQskTq3orp4/video.html
Cadiz?
Cadiz is nice too! :)
What i read on comments, people love those areas but i see after a while living there , I wonder why they do not stayed there then and left back to their countries.
There is no industry in these towns. To be able to live in such towns, you have to work remotely or have some huge savings :)
Sitges should be on this list.
Lived in Sitges for two years, yes beautiful, but extremely expensive cost of living, not recommended for families either
Lived in Sitges for two years, yes beautiful, but extremely expensive cost of living, not recommended for families either
@@steadybcn Why not recommended for families? It has a lovely old town, lovely beaches and a direct rail link to Barcelona and Tarragona, so good for commuting.
I
Yes for sure, but you missed my point. The average family wouldn't be able to afford a holiday in Sitges, unless they've lots of money.
czcams.com/video/5sKc9r6LK0Q/video.html
Where is Torremolinos and Marbella ...they r much more famous than teh places u mentioned
This video is not about the most famous towns in Spain. As for Marbella and Torremolinos, in my opinion the first one should be in top ten and the second one in top fifteen. I will definitely include them in my next top videos. Thanks
@@PlacesandBeaches ....Denia and Moraira and Calpe ...nobody heard about them ..they must be the best kept secret of Spain ..!! Alicante and Nerja however everybody knows
I understand and partially agree with you ;)
I miss here Cadiz the sister city of Havana. Not that touristic and at the atlantic. I prefer the Victoria Hotel. On the long ocean beach.
I have been having holidays in Cadiz for years, because I find the Mediterranean coast too hot in August. We just bought a flat in Sanlucar de Barrameda because it's way more affordable than Cadiz, and a lot quieter.
How far are this places from one another?
520km range
Very nice, stunning...Thank you so much 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💖🔝🌹💦💦🔝
Thank you! :)
North? We have the best beaches here in Galicia.
Yes, I know, I will make a video about top beaches in Spain too :)
Yes the north is beautiful so much better than south x
First went to Calpe and Denia over 35 years ago, if you ask me they are totally ruined now.
Agree to some extent.
Went to Calpe on Holiday every year between 1978-83. Then my Nan had a Bungalow in the quieter part of Benidorm so stayed there instead. Idyllic part of my childhood.
What is an expat? Is that the same as an immigrant?
The terms "expats" and "immigrants" generally refer to individuals residing in a country other than their country of origin. However, there is a subtle difference in their connotations. "Expats" typically describes individuals who voluntarily move abroad for employment or lifestyle reasons and often maintain a temporary or transitory status. On the other hand, "immigrants" generally refers to individuals who permanently relocate to a different country with the intention of settling down and establishing a new life. In addition to permanently relocating and establishing a new life, immigrants often move to another country in search of job opportunities and better economic prospects. They typically have the intention of finding employment and contributing to the workforce of their adopted country. This aspect highlights one of the key motivations behind immigration, as individuals seek to improve their standard of living and provide for themselves and their families.
you missed out canary islands
Will show the islands in top ten :)
For the life of me, how on earth did you miss the best on the costa blanca - Villajoyosa?....its has a large uncrowded beach in peak season, historic roman bridge & colourful fishersmans houses, 3 tram stops, marina, great promenade, non touristy, no high rise buildings + world heritage Christian & Moors event in late july................with respect, it seems as if you looked at a map and picked well known tourist destinations coz it was easier to review or find footage? 👀
Just filmed Villajoyosa two weeks ago :) Unfortunately I can not fit all the towns into a top 5 video, I had to choose 5. Thank you for you comment!
Soon I will publish the "top 8 coastal towns in Spain" where I will include more towns, so stay tuned! Thank you for your comment!
Thank you for your inspiration . We're looking at towns and villages for relocation from Barcelona after 15 years. Will definitely check this out.
We tried Sitges for two years, beautiful yes, I but unfortunately the cost of living there was very hight, wouldn't recommend it for families.
Calpe looks cool. You can pretend you are in Rio without worrying about being robbed at gunpoint.
nothing from the north coast though, otherwise good list
North coast will be in the next top ten video. Thank you for your comment!
FORGET blanes ,Mataro
I agree
Shouldn’t this be the top 5 coastal towns in the Costa Blanca? Surely San Sebastián has been ignored.
Nerja is not on Costa Blanca. I have been in 95% of coastal towns in Spain. San Sebastien is a great city, it will definitely be in my top ten, but this is my top five :)
False or Fake ?' Top 5 Coastal Towns in Alicante ( exept Nerja ) ....Spain has a lot to offer and it is simply amazing ...
and not only costa blanca , ok ?
You are right, Spain has a lot to offer. Unfortunately it is not possible to fit all the towns into a top 5 video. Will definitely include other towns in my next videos. Thanks
il manque Javea !!!!!!
The clearest sea Adriatic in Montenegro.
Spain has been able to boast of being the country with the most blue flag beaches in Europe ever since the system was first introduced.
@@PlacesandBeaches
Go to Montenegro and see a big difference in water.
Will do. Thanks :)

Top 5 Coastal Towns in Spain- 4 out of 5 in Costa Blanca and only one in Costa del Sol?
That is correct
@@PlacesandBeaches So I shouldn't waste my time in Malaga, Fuengirola, Estepona?
Estepona maybe, Marbella yes. Fuengirola and Malaga, do you think they should be in top 5? If yes, why? By the way, Malaga is a big port city, not a town.
@@PlacesandBeaches I've never been to Costa del Sol-this September
OK, now I understand. Instead of Malaga and Fuengirola, I would suggest you to visit Estepona and Marbella. Nerja and Frigiliana are nice authentic Andalucian style small towns. Ronda, one hour inland from Marbella, but worth seeing. Benalmadena, for nightlife. You can see the walking tours of these towns on my channel, so you can have a better idea. Except, Frigiliana, I will post a video about this town next month. I wish you nice holidays in September! :)
Cant ignore Benidorm, Estepona either
Benidorm and Estepona are nice towns too, I think these should be included in top 10 coastal towns in Spain
Marbella?
Next top videos :)
NO CABLE STONES LIKE IN PORTUGAL
TARIFAAAAAAAAA
Too windy ;)
No, I don’t agree with your picks. You show 3 from Alicante, one from Malaga & one from Valencia, all on the Mediterranean coast. There are many other beaches thar offer as much or more than those explained. I suspect this video to be a paid advertisement for the 5 towns shown.
This video is not a paid advertisment. This video is not about best beaches, but the best coastal towns. In my opinion Mediterranean coast is the best, with fewer rainy days and wind per year and Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol are the best to move and live. Check my channel to see walking tours of many coastal towns in Spain.
Thank you for your comment
Hi, we are Korean reality TV program “Europe Outside Your Tent : Spain”. We are now making the episode of Alicante and it will be really great if you could allow us to use this video in our show! We will be looking forward to ur response! Thanks!
Hello! Unfortunately it is not possible as the videos are monetized, I don't want to mess with this.
Sitges must come sixth?
I'll post Sitges next month :)
Sitzes would be at best 60th, a certain demographic has ruined what WAS a nice town
@@bruceketcheson4877 Well that's like, your opinion. Me and my girlfriend stayed in a gay hotel. They sent us champagne. We're not homophobic.
@@johnshort5003 Has nothing to do with being homophobic. If you owned a place there and heard what people who actually lived there shared, then maybe your like one night like hotel stay wouldn't be your like only insight to the like word like.
@@bruceketcheson4877 As we live in Sabadell we've been to Sitges many times over the last decade. If you stopped being so gratuitously cryptic I might actually get an idea what you're talking about. If it's not about the influx of gays then what is it about.
Moraira is supposed to be a secret. Shoooooooo🤫🤫🤫🤫
:)
This video is just for catching English tourists and has not much to do with the best Spanish towns and beaches. I would wonder if the best of Spain is within a few kilometres
The towns listed are within 527 kilometers range. This is my top 5 coastal towns after traveling al over Spain since 2015, I didn't make this video for English tourists. Thank you for your comment;
No doubt guys landed in Alicante and had limited budget to travel just around. Don’t trust them: there are a lot more! Do your own research!
Not sure what you mean. Have you visited the towns mentioned in this video? I agree that there is a lot more, please give more details. What coastal towns did you like?
Nah, the towns in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, in that islands are the best costal towns, i from Lanzarote!!!
This the top 5 coastal towns of the mainland Spain, not of the Canary islands :)
Alicante is hardly a coastal town, it has a population of 400,000.
I have decided to include this gorgeous city in my video because I personally thing that it should be here. By the way, when I describe Alicante, you can hear that I say 'Alicante has all the advantages of a big city'. Thanks
