Thank you for this video because for at least 1 year I did something and when I turn off my Tahoe the seat moves forward all the way. Not ideal when you are 6-5 and my knees come up and hit me in the face :( Now I can adjust everything to my liking
Looks like they took this feature away in 2016- the RKE will no longer recall a seat position. You have to push the ignition button to "ON". Who's brilliant idea was that??
not sure why you would have to press and hold the memory buttons and/or easy out function once it has been stored. all you should have to do is touch 1, 2 or easy out and it should adjust all the way on it's own.
I have a 2015 tahoe ltz. Had 1 stored as mine and 2 as my husbands. I use to be able to just tap it once and it went to the stored setting. Now, i have to hold down the button and readjust my driver mirror. Not sure why? It’s very annoying. Recently I had to have my fuse block replaced and whole car reprogrammed, I wonder if that’s part of the issue. Either way, it’s very annoying having to re-do everything. So I just decided to take off auto memory recall and easy exit option.
@@jazminibarra9890 most likely you just need to reset it to where you want. When you have everything adjusted as needed then just press and hold the memory button until it beeps twice
I noticed when I had my 2015 Tahoe.. Once I set the features, all I had to do was press the 1 or 2 botton I was good to go. Now that I have a 2020 Yukon Denali I have to hold down either 1 or 2 for the seat to go into its memory setting.. That part I hate

I just bought a 2015 Yukon SLT and I love it so far! what do you suggest doing if my memory side mirror and foot pedal doesn't work with the memory seat? the seat and steering wheel goes to the position when I push number 1. but I always have to readjust the side driver side mirror (passenger side mirror goes to position) and the foot pedal. any help would be oh so awesome!!
Any tips or tricks on how to fix my power seat it no longer works. I pressed the side buttons to adjust but nothing happens and my pedals don’t respond to the button any more WHY!!!….. I just got my Yukon 2015 😠😩😩
Do the two work when you push the buttons at all? You can try holding the button down again to set it but if none of the buttons work there may be a fuse that has blown out

What year is your Denali? I have a 2017 Denali and the seat doesn't move upon unlocking with the keyfob. I verified driver 1 on the DIC and both seat options are on in the settings.
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage Yes the memory seats work fine with the buttons on the door. Its just the functionality of the seats moving into position with the keyfob that doesn't work. BTW, there are several owners on the gm-trucks.com forum that are having the same issue I have.
@@sergiopereziii I have the same problem. My 2014 Sierra 1500 SLT used to do this, but my 2019 Sierra 2500 SLT will not do it. It is an awesome feature and it pisses me off that it disappeared. Dealer feigns no knowledge of this, like what they do with any issues.
Everything that is adjusted when the 1 or 2 button is pushed and held down should adjust when you chose that setting. If it doesn’t work, try pressing set and then the number.

What if we have 3 remotes…..how can we designate which ones go to which setting for the default seat setting for fob?

It might need to be activated in a setting or perhaps when using the actual keyless entry buttons to unlock to get in so it know which remote.

I have a 2020 Chevy Traverse that DOES NOT already have the memory seat button. Can it be put in by the dealer or at all. ?

Mine is a 2015. I can’t imagine it would be much different. Did you hold the button until it beeped?

Question- how do I program mirrors to adjust to driver 1 and 2? Seats move but mirrors stay. Suburban 2021 LT.
