What people probably don’t think about is we want amps to do well. Being rated this high and doing so little power should be illegal. It is misleading the consumer and should be fines involved for any company who does this. Young lawyer types, here’s your opportunity....between Ryan and I, we have a lot of evidence and it’s here, available for public consumption

And for 240$ you can get that under rated skar rp 2000.1d and u tested it it was a great buy and could u test the skar rp.1500.1d thats 1500 watts for 180 right now on down for sound
Problem as you know is that they do not have to meet any kind of requirements as it is not regulated. How they word the specs is so wishy washy as well, their lawyers covered their bases. Then Rockville saying they meet CEA ratings when it's only at 4 ohm is worse as that certification is flawed as well and a joke. When first established I'm sure it actually met something but now loop holes don't even need to be looked for, it's the front door of that institution.Then there is their subs meeting rating of a rating that doesn't even exist......also...... I don't know what is worse though, these making the uneducated one believe they have 6500 Watts (or 3250watts if they read the box) or the same person getting a brazilian and it having 1 power terminal and install kits screaming 5500watts with the equivalency of 4 gauge CCA wire? (shh don't tell hi-fi that I'm knocking his precious.)
Just seen yesterday, on a sundown sfb 5000 that since they put 2 sets of power terminals on their full bridge amps the guy had 1 run of 1/0 going into a distro 1 in 2 out...... Props they even did that I suppose but it's going to pop if left that way.
But what can we do besides tell them the truth. Can lead a horse to water but can't teach people to have common sense.......

But anyways, the place was called Car audio designs and they straight ripped me off.. they sold me this amp for 500 bucks !!! They straight robbed me. I wish their was something I could do
The angle termenals are for neat installs. Making it easy to hide wires in a false floor or wall.

I'll be the odd man out, I had two of these strapped to 4 of the 5000w atg 12s. Let me tell you, I was presently surprised. They seem pretty efficient even for cheap crap. But their subs def have a leg up on the amps

I think it had an issue when u tested it before. I also have a super old school amp I would love to see how much power it puts out also. It also needs repaired sadly. I got the ATG 4500.1 class D mono on 2 ATG 12s and the shit hits hard. I don't have no problem with ATG products I think there pretty good but I guess there issue is with the price. I only payed $200 for the whole setup off of someone and I'm very satisfied with the way it sounds I'm not looking to rip my trunk off but it does hit hard

oooh snap! i recognize those fuses lined up like that... a bunch of low end amplifiers use that board and its crap... i had mine replaced twice and fixed it a third time before dumping it to the garbage.

Exactly. The only good thing I saw about that amp was the efficiency, but for the watts to price, it's a dud. A "Bust". Even at $125, who knows how long this amp will even last.

Ryan, you should try and get your hands on a Toro Audio rage R6 for an amp dyno. Its their 4000w .5 ohm stable amp and I'm sure im not the only one curious about the ratings!

Is that normal? Its been awhile since ive ran a mono block with two sets of outputs and that just doesnt seem how i remember them.

Step up to the 2200 when they get them. I'd rather have the ATG amp over the 1600. Yes the cab does more power and it works splendid, for now. It's not a matter of if it goes down it is certainly when. A lot of these amps come from the same build house, cabs do too but cab got the ones that failed to meet spec for whatever reason. I'll admit that I don't know that for sure but I do know that of the 9 cab boards I have they do have others markings on them and when you send it in for warranty they just slap a new board in your case and send it back. Got them off the ground and for the price accordingly for a throw away. The yellow pcb itself, are cheap horrible boards. This is in no way a negative on cab or apex now, as I said price was fantastic, customer service was top notch and warranty was hassle free. This also is not a bad amp at the end of the day but the fact they are claiming something it is not, that is the kick in the teeth.
Oh i forgot the price..... Yeah no thats got to go, the audio obviously already had so the money needs to as well lol

It doesn't, different board, 2 ohm amp vs 1 ohm. Only similarity is the heatsinks are both black with blue sidepanels

Can you show us the specs page on amps bruz, you can't always download a manual (and you should always read a products manual before buying it)
What about the Cerwin Vega CVP2000.1D, it uses two 35 amp fuses and claims to do 1000@2 ohms rms and 2000@2 ohms peak and is only $129 on sonicelectronix. When you flipped this one I was waiting to see a maxxsonix sticker on that cheap stamped steel plate but there wasn't one.
I seen the notification pop up and I was hoping it to be the Rockville compdb4!!! But I would put money on it that the compdb4 would be a much better amp! Thanks for the video Ryan even if it is a bust. Keep putting these companies on blast. Maybe there next amp will be a good one.

RF used to have the Lighting Audio brand but it's unknown to me if they were built by RF or they had them built elsewhere.....either way, the built quality is very good and output is good too. Lightning Audio amps deliver.

What I feel like is missing from your channel is? Even thou you don't get the correct power rating listed. This App may last longer than you live? I have some older amps that just won't blow up. And they were considered cheap back in 1985. Does the app sound quality sound good? It's well built.

Its a standard 1800.1 audiopipe style chinese board. it will make about 1800. Tons of amps use this board. i repair them constantly
Best to not mount it down and let it side around in the trunk plus helps to cool all that 6500 milliwatt down :-):-)
Take a look at the DB Drive speed series 3000.1 it's the same amp
I looked and its not the same... That amp shares guts with several amps (Soundstream TL4000.1D, PRV. Dual etc...) but this amp is different... cosmetics are similar though....
The $208 Soundstream Big D just tested beats this although efficiency was actually pretty good at 2ohm on this amp. You got 78% efficiency. Price is wack though
With these cheaper model amps I find that if u take its peak n divide that by 2 then divide that by 2 you'll get bout what the amp will do. So if it's peak is say 1000 /2=500/2=rms250. So a 1000 watt amp wood be in reality a 250 watt amp.

I am really disappointed that synergy didn't put out that syn series amp. I had hoped it would be the new budget king. I want a budget korean, or even Chinese half bridge design class d amp. I don't care much for the full bridge amps at all. The line that synergy decided to put out in place of the syn series is too expensive I feel to really be a budget amp. The wfo amps are super nice and I would love to have one but I will not pay that price for an amp like that. The way I understood it the syn series was going to be budget friendly and I feel the wfo line isn't.

I got the Orion XTR-2250 "The Beast" for 50$ used just needed a fuse. The fan works, it's in 9 of 10 condition.
I don't even mind bad ratings if the price is acceptable. This amp should be priced around $200 at most.
So if you test amplifiers as often as you do and you encounter these angled terminal blocks often then why would you not order some ILL CUSTOMZ angled inputs to go in them so that you're able to make your life a whole lot easier and they're like $10-20 at most lol
