I am happy to see Mr. Gashumba standing up for the "Bavandimwes." I only wish he would consider the true source of the injustices. It is hard for non-Bavandimwes to relate to this issue because when you look at every heads of most major institutions in this country, you will find a muvandimwe. Let it be in the military wings, political, judiciary, education, and so on. I am not denying that the Bavandimwes are not ugandans. They are! I also believe some of them are disenfranchised by the system. The main reason this is happening is because other ugandan tribes have been on the sidelines watching Bavandimwes enjoying the loot of the land without dropping crumbs. The day you Bavandimwes pick up the regular Ugandans cause to demand for the government to share the pie with them on a somewhat fair basis, that will be the first blow against tribalism in Uganda. This is coming from me a mother of a muvandimwe child though I am not a muvandimwe. The one issue I will put on Museveni is the daily influx of Rwandan citizens in Uganda. Am a victim of the system of passport just becoz the guy who interviewed me found out that my linkage is licked to Rwanda 🇷🇼 up to date I hv no passport yet I was born and lived my whole life in uganda 🇺🇬 without any thing to do with Rwanda 🇷🇼 it’s really hard to understand. Many opportunities hv passed me just becoz of the internal affair guy. It’s painful and hard to believe. The way one is so proud to be Ugandan but ur denied all ur rights.

I am happy to see Mr. Gashumba standing up for the "Bavandimwes." I only wish he would consider the true source of the injustices. It is hard for non-Bavandimwes to relate to this issue because when you look at every heads of most major institutions in this country, you will find a muvandimwe. Let it be in the military wings, political, judiciary, education, and so on. I am not denying that the Bavandimwes are not ugandans. They are! I also believe some of them are disenfranchised by the system. The main reason this is happening is because other ugandan tribes have been on the sidelines watching Bavandimwes enjoying the loot of the land without dropping crumbs. The day you Bavandimwes pick up the regular Ugandans cause to demand for the government to share the pie with them on a somewhat fair basis, that will be the first blow against tribalism in Uganda. This is coming from me a mother of a muvandimwe child though I am not a muvandimwe. The one issue I will put on Museveni is the daily influx of Rwandan citizens in Uganda. That is another reason (I think) why Bavandimwes are scrutinized. Lastly, other Ugandans cannot be tribalistic because they do not own institutions. They can only be prejudiced. That last two statements require deep thinking. My 2 cents!!!!
