    And remember:
Your standards will only scare people that aren't meant to be with you.

i like the thought "I don't need anything from you". If I am able to see what I can offer, what I can bring to the table and stay by my means, that gives me a better feeling to meet someone else.

Thank you so much! Very helpful insights. 😀 I just finished Not Nice and one of the most life changing books I’ve ever read, being bold and assertive feels so much better in my body, still shedding all that nice person conditioning. Thanks for all you do! đŸ™đŸŒ

“I don’t need anything from you.” I ❀ this! It’s absolutely true and we don’t realize until we actually say those words to ourselves. Thank you!

Ah this is everything I already knew but needed (or wanted) to hear again
I think it’s slowly sinking in.
It will take constant commitment because we’re swimming against the current, but it’s one of the secrets to a more content existence.
In fact, you can take it a step further and realise you don’t need half of the material possessions you’ve been aiming to acquire and remove these stupid preconditions to contentment that we’ve put in place.

and if you're dealing with narcissists, always remember that you don't need their approval / support / gratitude/ love / respect.
YOU. DON'T. NEED. THEM ! period.

This seems to make me want to explore the next step. I have control how I show up, express my opinions, share my ideas; laugh out loud, disagree etc etc but then when people react to that, respond to me, you say that is their business however they respond. I am okay up to this point, but then their responses when not what I hoped for, ie negative responses, some may get offended, upset, angry, disagree, tease, criticise
. I’d like to hear more about what happens after you show up and you don’t get what you want.

They turned off the dislike button for you bro đŸ€Ł
What I'm wondering about a lot is physical safety, and people trying to put you down for being more confident. Also the border of being confident and illegal. Obviously illegal is not intrinsic in humans, it's a societal thing, but with a big government having this overarching system is like paranoia inducing. Think of it like this - we were living 10-70k years without anything overarching like that, and many things were always plenty ok, that now aren't because of the higher power of gvt - something that only popped up now with the huge "self-governed" societies. We're not used to it genetically, so...
Are you interested at all in evolutionary psychology?
    Great vid
