- In this video clip i build a little handy piece out of aluminum to turn a regular router into a one hand router.
This Video is not a step by step instruction and is just build from my personal skills.
Hope you get inspired.
Dirk Ahrendt
Such a great creative job.... Salut from Egypt my friend....
Thanks 😊 👋🏻🇩🇪
@@TheMetalist sprichst du deutsch oder warum hast du eine deutsche Flagge gesendet?
Amazing! Great job.
Bem técnico.
Very good
Nice job . Congratulations
Thank you 😁
You have a Fein taste for tools!... :o)
Thank you 😁
Parabéns ótima peça 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you 😁
beautiful tools
Thank you 😁
Pretty slick
Thank you 😊
Very nice
Está padrísimo el tornito, tendrás un vídeo de ese juguete.
Awesome
Thank you 😊
very cool, nicely done. Im also a tig welder and my tools are mainly FEIN 18v. Question for you, did you use the 5.2Ah batteries? are they better than the 6ah? and do you have a good idea what to do with those FEIN "system" cases that the tools come with?
Thank you 😁 im also not sure wath to buy! The 5.2 highpower are very good for hard work (grinder, die grinder) and the regular 18v 6.0 last much longer. If you have enough batterys than i would buy the 5.2 aspecially if you work a lot with the angle grinder.
Super
How many people have this tools in their home for making this ?
çok güzel.
Was ist Direndt? Der ursprüngliche Kanalname abgeleitet aus Dirk Ahrendt?
Охерительно! Good luck!
cuanto tiene de potencia?
Where did you get the scribing guage? That’s awesome!
Thank you 😊
Do you need mm or inch
My shop still uses inch-do you sell them?!?🙏
Inch are hard to find but it will somethink coming soon. 2-3 weeks
Könntest du mal deine Werkstatt zeigen? Mich würde die Drehbank schon interessieren.Liebe Grüße :-)
👍👍👍😷
😊
What frequency do you use for aluminium welding?
70-100 most of the time 75
Bro if you don't mind please give the peace size also
Máy đấy giá bao nhiêu vậy
Routers are cheap who needs to make one
for those who do not have enough money to buy, opa.
He says above that he already had metal and grinder so it was free and since he doesn't use a router often it made sense for his situation.
Is the motor a die grinder?
Yes 😊
como foi feita a adaptação na esmerilhadeira?
Es un esmeril con velocidad regulable
I'm watching the video well.
the idea of a good milling cutter is not visible when the mode is minus
What does "DIRENDT" mean in english? I only know english.
Its actully a mix from my name Dirk Ahrendt = direndt. At the beginn i thought about i would call the channel direndt
hey kommst du eigentlich aus Deutschland, du hast ziemlich Deutesches Metallbauererkzeug :)
Ja ...

10 expensive tools for a "home made" router.
A good router is expensive itself, also if you are into metal working you probably have a straight grinder.
It would be a waste of money to buy a proper router, cause you will probably use it just from time to time, so this diy makes sense at least for me
???????
cheaper to buy one than to buy all the tools needed to make it.
Yes very true.
You could do all this with hand tools but I guess you'll still need a welder
@@theshankman8682 I have a fully stocked toolbox and sure I could do most of that with what I have but the gas for the TIG would cost more than the router plate, never mind the machine.
@@GuyMcLaren do you need to huff half of the can before work or something lol
@@theshankman8682 Nope you need to buy it and the bottles.
Nice work & all, but wtf is with all the slow motion? If anything, people would want some fast forward/timelapse in the tedious process. Not to make the shit longer
Chaos Zest this is by far the worst comment I’ve seen on a video, if you don’t like it, no one is forcing you to watch it! There is an off button
@@kevinbeachus6988 this is by far the worst reply I've seen on a comment, if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to read it! Just scroll past it
Ξανδρος Peaches how original
@@kevinbeachus6988 just as original as yours. Except my comment was mockery, if you couldn't figure that out, where yours is pure idiocy.
Step #1 in making a palm router go out and buy 20 grand worth of machinery to make palm router FFS these guys don’t live in the real world
Many people have access to workshops where they can build these sort of things or just have a collection of tools. Just because it's not your world doesn't mean it's not the real world.
If you come to a video like this expecting to need an empty cereal box and a hot glue gun you probably aren't in the target audience.
Leon Drinkhill wrong I have a shop like this been a machinist for 30 years I know of only a handful of shops like mine and very few people have access to them
It's like owning a car to drive to work and since you already have it you decide to use it to take a vacation somewhere. You wouldn't buy a car just to take a trip but if you already have one then why not?
