      I'd say the enclave had sites all over the states in order to survive even an all-out destruction campaign or bombing/war and as with life there's most likely factions within the enclave working toward their own ends so wilzig probably got a message from moldaver or even contacted her after he was secretly put to it by an enclav faction.I think it's gonna be awesome to see what the brotherhood do now they have unlimited power eh! There's alot of potential tech that they've accumulated that they can now use and develop.

      Robots? Possibly but unlikely as they would have been used prior, including when cleaning up the most recent "Moldavir" incident. Also we do know a lot of who has come out of 31 because Norm clearly accessed the logs and showed how many vault tech employees have been slowly and yet seemingly calculated to hold each position of overseer.

    • @BigSuzpekt
      @BigSuzpekt Před 22 dny +7

      @@rhinoburger It's most likely robots. Even if a good amount of people were part of vault 33, there's no way they all can leave and go clean without anyone noticing especially with Norm already being aware of it.
      I also don't think they are sending a person every 20 years. Stephanie Harper (New overseer of vault 32) is originally from vault 31. I think the Davey (the old guy with a mustache) is from vault 31. Besides stephanie, davey, and Betty, i don't think anyone else is from vault 31. It could just be that they are timing it, so the person from vault 31 has time to become part of vault 33 before they are made overseer. It would be weird if they send someone from vault 31 and make them overseer without several years of being part of the vault.

    • @DarkUnity
      @DarkUnity Před 23 dny +21

      The way some of the bodies were positioned, it seems like when Vault 32 was rioting, either Bud or Vault 32's overseer pumped in a odorless nerve gas, that killed everyone instantly in their place. The bodies positioned trying to get into Vault 31, and the two dead bodies strangling themselves gives off the impression they all died at the same time, instantly.

    • @TheRunningLeopard
      @TheRunningLeopard Před 23 dny +5

      I think something similar happened as well, there is more behind the death of those in Vault 32 than what we saw. I could see some of them falling into the behavior exhibited by the “raiders”, wanting to lash out at folks who could have realized something was going on but kept their head in the sands - but there has to be more.

    • @DarkUnity
      @DarkUnity Před 23 dny +11

      @@TheRunningLeopard There was definitely more to the deaths behind the people of Vault 32, the person killed in the window was likely killed in the riots. Its likely the two people choking eachother was a Vault 31 resident and a Vault 32 resident. However, again its the way the bodies were positioned at the time of death that leads me to believe the survivors were all killed, instantly at the same time. The two skeletons again with their hands around each others throats indicates they both died at the same time from something other then strangulation, because if someone was strangled to death, there likely wouldn't be a body of the killer next to the victim. Now thinking about it, it could also be possible either Bud or Vault 32's overseer merely shut off all the air in the vault and the survivors just suffocated.

    • @roedhunt
      @roedhunt Před 23 dny +13

      They made some hints in the show comparing the vault dwellers to rats, and saying that they'll fight over food and control for survival. I think they died killing eachother, and the survivors guilt-ridden finished themselves off or ran out of food and decided to. There was also the marking on the wall "we know what you did" or something like that, so they might have learned vault-tec were responsible for the bombs dropping.

The problem is they have done and continue to do evil things in order to make this happen. Witness the attack on the telescope dome in the series. They were willing to kill everyone there just to get that power chip. Despite the fact that it was beneficial technology. The other faction the one that wishes to directly help people is continually shut down by the tech gathering faction. This has led to a few splinter groups in the game series peeling off from the brotherhood. The helping people faction got the upper hand in Washington and preserved and protected the water purification plant and the distribution of the water as well as shutting down the Conclave (if you played it that way.)

    I swear that somewhere in my FO3/NV playing, my brain wants to say its in Raul's dialogue, he talks about how Ghouls use chems to keep their brains buzzing and stop them from going feral. The context I remember is they do Psycho/Jet/Steady/Med-X/etc just to keep their cognition amplified. Almost described like how Dark Souls describes "going hollow". In Dark Souls, keep fighting, don't go hollow. In Fallout, for ghouls, keep chugging chems, stay lucid, don't go feral. The show, however, definitely makes it look like there are specific "vials" that prevent a ghoul from going feral, not just the "stay fucked up on any chem available" that I remember NV describing.

    i like the theories presented here;
    ie. That cooper's daughter is in charge (after her mom)
    But like what some of the theories i seen online which makes sense.
    - the vials from the super duper market, were probably some kind of spinal / fluid extracted from the existing ghouls captured (that is why they have tons n tons of supplies there).
    that would help maintain the sanity, and that it would be constantly available for "harvest" from fellow ghouls. Also partially explains why cooper cannibalizes the ghoul he killed, right immediately, to extend abit of the timeframe of not having any vials.
    personally i have these:
    - norm is definitely alive as he can threaten the brain to let him out, or find a way out. cryo pod being last resort.
    - Either: cooper definitely got his daughter into a vault whereby his wife was in charge, and he himself did not manage to get in, while being irradiated and mutated into ghoul. OR
    Alternative reasoning: he actually got into the vault with a cryopod, but it was sabotaged by someone, and he ended up in the wasteland irradiated and mutated. while the status of his family remain unknown. and he survived the ghoul/mutation while trying to find answers. Additional detail: his wife may or may not be in charge , as she may have been betrayed as well by vault-tec.
    - vault 32, was definitely induced with a form of gas which made them hallucinate/ kill each other. This is not new, even in FO universe's vaults. So this is not much of a mystery IMO. as each vaults had their own experiments they wanted to carry out.

      @RyanSiggaard Před 23 dny +6

      I don't think that's it. In Fallout 4 Nuka-world DLC, there's a ghoul npc waiting over 100 years for their friend to return after they left to find a cure for becoming feral. Since the TV show takes place 9 years after the game, that serum is probably the cure. Also, RadX is a pill.

    I mean the vials are pretty self-explanatory. You drink the vials and you don't go feral. We can also assume that the longer you wait to drink one, the more you will need, based on Cooper's reaction to finally getting vials when he was near death. Cooper's friend was out of vials and had likely gone quite some time without one. Vials are also expensive, based on the conversation they had and he was unable to afford them. Cooper, on the other hand, was able to keep vials around by completing his bounties and having the money to do so.

It seems like they left Hank in the dark because he had no idea what had happened in Vault 32. Of course, had he known there wouldn't have been much of a show because he never would have let the Raiders come in. Given that he loves Lucy so much you would think he'd want to know as much about her future husband as he could. Where was Monty's mother and father? If they'd been living in the vaults for more than 200 years there would have likely been a healthy family tree there with many generations. We never see any of that. Also, how many people live in the vaults? Hundreds, thousands? I know they were built to hold that many but likely few that purchased spaces actually could get to them once the bombs fell so that might explain why we only see so few people at the wedding (and that included t folks from Vault 32 also).
