well he didn't have any intention of letting her go, she refused to take the money and he stopped her from leaving, So I think he did go there with the intention to kill her if she refused to take the money, otherwise he would have let her leave.
He was already a murderer at this point so the court would claim that it was 3rd degree murder

This is very similar to how Chantelle died. She got pushed onto a sharp object unintentionally killing them. And neither Lucas or Grey did anything to help. Not sure if Grey is worse though since he actually plotted an alibi as soon as it happened.
Gray did intentionally, Lucas had no intention to hurt or kill, he only covered it up in panic as he may have been prosecuted
Watching this scene again I can't help keeping my eyes on the rake in the background knowing what's going to happen
'I want you gone' - five minutes later shoves her onto a rake...... The rake was a bit strategically placed wasn't it?
the title is kind of misleading... he didn't murder her, technically. it was an accident & even though he left her for dead, even if he tried to get help it would've been too late cuz she died pretty fast
I doubt it would even come under manslaughter, a jury would have to decide he did so with reckless intent or was inherently dangerous, which i'm not sure his act would come under, however leaving the scene in an accident he caused which resulted in death could see him imprisoned for upto 10 years.
Let's not bother going into him burying the body...
i guess so ... although he never buried her body? didn't he leave her there then some weeks later she was found by some kids.. he buried someone else but not her

He was a murderer, yeah. But here he didn't murder her. . . He just left her to die.
There are a few things to consider here. 1) whether he could have reasonably forseen that she would die as a result of his actions and I believe the awnser is yes. A reasonable person must assume that a person could fall on a sharp gardening implement if they were shoved in a shed. 2) did he go there with the intention to kill her, again I believe the awnser is yes. He must have had a plan of what he was going to do if she refused to take the money. as the clip shows He stopped her from leaving after she refused the money. So I believe that it was his intention to kill her, otherwise why didn't he let her leave. 3) was it convenient for him for her to be dead and I believe the awnser to this is an obvious yes. Furthermore after the event, most people would either 1 panic and flee or 2 go and get help. He did neither he simply walked away. He clearly never intended for her to get help. I'm no solicitor but I think on the balance of profanities and looking at the evidence, this is murder and not manslaughter
