- We’ve tried a number of different interior cleaners over the year, and while we’ve found many that tick most of the boxes we look for in our “ideal interior cleaner,” to-date we’ve yet to find one that ticks them all - until now.
Join us as we talk through our initial impressions of Koch Chemie Allround Surface Cleaner (ASC) which is safe to use on smooth surfaces, stainless steel, plastic, leather and textiles and in our experience, leaves a residue and streak free finish.

All the reasons you don't like p&s xpress are all the reasons i love it lol
Great!! If you have the choice between this one and Gyeon Interior Detailer, which one you would go with and why?
I’m choosing ASC. Can get it in NZ, comes in 500mL and 10L, less flash time, slightly more versatile. I’m unsure how I feel using Gyeon interior cleaner regularly especially with the high alcohol content. I have asked Gyeon about this- they say it is safe. Personally I can see Omni Garage using both, Gyeon for light interior cleaning/ dusting/ refresh and ASC for a slightly deeper clean. We use colourlock for leather. We are left to find a good carpet/ upholstery cleaner and possibly a more aggressive interior cleaner for real dirty interiors.
I’m a certified GYEON detailer. I love their interior cleaner because it’s alcohol based. It helps aid in drying plus gives it a very hygienic clean as well. So soon I will run ASC against it just for fun.
I dunno how easy it is to to get but car pro inside is great and you can dilute it down or use straight for dirty stuff
Have tried it. Still have a gallon of it left. We think this is still better.
Can it be used on navigation screens?
We’ve been using in on navigation screens with no apparent issues.
How does this compare to Nextzett Cockpit Premium Interior ?
Thanks
Unsure sorry. Never used Nextzett products before.
Works on the infotainment system too ?
It sure does!
What towels are you using?
The rag company towels.
What advantage is this over Gs diluted to 1:20? Every exterior or interior problem I have, Gs seems to solve it for me
Is Gs Green Star?
Yes apologies, green star or mostly can be tackled with pol star also. I’m just wondering if there is something it offers that’s better than those two
@@elmirbrdar1045green star is alkaline so it’s used more for heavy duty cleaning. ASC is used for everything in the interior and delicate surfaces (plastic, glass, nav screens, etc) for light maintenance cleaning
Have you guys tried Koch chemie pol star? As a deeper cleaner?
We haven’t, but it’s on the list to try. Have you tried it? Would you recommend it?
@@OmniGarage absolutely it’s really good and highly diluted. Great foamy product
Sweet! Something we will given a go
@@OmniGarage shine supply has some pretty amazing interior detailers and deep cleaners as well.
You can also use it with a tornador type cleaning gun.
It says you can but I have never used one before.
@@OmniGarage if I needed a heavy cleaner which one
Depends on what you are using it on. I have never needed a heavy cleaner for the interior. I do see a lot of people using an all purpose cleaner/ Green Star from Koch Chemie.
@@OmniGarage need something for fabric real dirty fabric
For seats, door cards and carpet/floor mats I use an upholstery cleaner, steam and carpet extractor. MZR by Koch Chemie is ok and the only product it have used before. P&S have a 3 step process. Terminator Enzyme Spot and Stain Cleaner, then Carpet bomber finished with Finisher Peroxide Treatment.
How about testing it in a really dirty dashboard and not in a brand new one?
This car is a 2014 model so not new… just looked after. I prefer this product for light-moderate cleaning applications. We use P&S interior cleaner for more dirty applications (although not my favourite but it does foam well).
87 $ for 10L in Germany😉
Nice! Much cheaper than buying here but we are a long way away for shipping etc.
