As a Turk I salute Australians and other countries that fought with dignity and courage. That's why we have a statue and special graveyards for everyone who lost their lives in Gallipoli. The men who fought in Gallipoli were pushed in there because of war and politics but in the end they couldn't make us hate each other. Respect.

This is what Atatürk said to those who fought in gallipoli and its very nice
Those heroes who shed their blood and lost their lives! You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country to of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.
      Atatürk, 1934

Gallipoli is a place where ideas of sides and politics were pushed aside and not long after the men who fought respected eachother, it's a tragedy but it's a beautiful one. I'm American and it makes me happy to see how both sides give rememberance to eachother today about Gallipoli.

Some details I feel you are missing while you play:
    1. When you kill someone, the red hit markers come up rather than the white which just means hit
    2. If you dive into mud, your weapon gets muddy as well
    3. Press melee while sprinting with a bayonet and you will charge (warning: you won't be able to sprint afterwards)
    4. When you reload bolt action, they put 5 or singles in at a time till it's loaded.
    5. Vehicles, including horses, can sprint
    6. I know you've done this plenty of times but I think you didn't realize how, sprint into a door to kick it open.
    7. Elite troops like Flamethrowers and heavy machine gunners don't do well with explosives.
    8. When on fire, "Stop, drop, and roll" (go prone, less damage)

Arguably, one of the first SMGs, in that it fired 9mm rounds, but then again, it was designed as an aircraft gun, and only later ported to ground combat role, and that too as a bipod mounted light mg, rather than something which could be carried around portably. It was basically a 9mm LMG

Matouš M. For WW1 games this is one of the few that is mainstream and is both on consoles and pc. Very few ww1 games make it over a few thousand in sales. Battlefield 1 crossed over more than a million. Second although the games vision of WW1 is a bit cinematic the multiplayer and singlet player still shows the brutality of that time. Weather it’s the chaos of multiplayer. The heroism of single player, or the shock of seeing the crying man in the first mission and being given the option to spare or kill him. Also as a gamer the change in settings from most FPS being settings was pretty refreshing for most people. In short it went down in gaming history for being a good game and for it’s artistic representation of the First World War.

Little fun fact: the double smg is a Villar Perosa, it was used on the rear of italian planes during ww1, it used a pistol caliber, if I recall correctly it was a kind of 9mm. They tried to use it in battle, but the lack of a stock and everything else that isn't needed outside of a fighter biplane made it a bit weird to use, so they decided to cut it in half (the Villar Perosa is basically two separate poen bolt smg mechanisms attached together), put a stock on it and change the thumb button with a trigger, and so the Beretta model 1918 smg was born. And also the Villar Perosa is arguably the first smg ever made, since it was the first weapon to shoot automatically (intended as a pull of the trigger that shoots a whole bunch of rounds, not automatic intended as simply self-loading) a pistol cartridge

The gun(the one with 2 mags that you start the level with) is a vilerparosa its an aircraft gun (that why it shoots so fast see this explained bellow) it can from the plane that crashed on him
Aircraft gun usuall have huge fire rates because as a plane gunner you often have only short windows of a few seconds where youre target is in you sights so to improve hit chance and the damage done it shoots very fast

    @eeshsinger Před 3 lety

for Luke's question about the gun he first used in this video yes its italian its a villar perosa but in real life the villar perosa is a wee bit bigger than the one portrayed here in battlefield fun fact the beretta model 1918 smg was a gun made from cannibalized parts of the villar perosa and the carcano rifle cuz they deemed the villar perosa a hassle of a gun to bring and use so the people at beretta during that time just cannibalize parts of the villar perosa with parts from the carcano rifle

Bf1 online is insane the most fun ever but the only way to fine a game if you go to server and the best game mode is conquest and another is where you can be attacking force which you have limited respawns and the defender team and everytime you get pushed back from the region the enemy team if they lost alot of respawns they get some back. And it's like 30 vs 30

The proven leaders which the game talks about is Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who was the leader of the Turkish Independence War and he is considered father of the Turks. His speech about Gallipoli always gives me chills. “Those heroes that shed their blood in this country! You are in the soil of a friendly country. Rest in peace. You are lying side by side, bosom to bosom with Mehmets. Your mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries! Wipe away your tears. Your sons are in our bosom. They are in peace. After having lost their lives on this soil they have become our sons as well.”
