- This week we got patch 2.0.0 and were given the first chapter of Bestower Of All! We also got a whole new weapon system and armor series called Soul Weapons, the first of which is the "Hollow Hell" Series. It is our new best in slot for Attackers inside and outside of the new Limbo maps. I will cover what materials you need to farm, how to do it efficiently, and show the whole process of making gear from start to finish. What souls do what, and what rolls you want from each type of soul.

Sorry that the inferno guide never came due to being sick, but I made sure to put a ton of effort into getting a quick and clear Soul guide up for you guys asap!
I hope this made it way easier to understand, and makes you not feel as overwhelmed as some of the other info out there right now!
Managed to create a team that could utilize the Titi farm strat and build a team to kill all 4 elites at the same time. [Line 1 is Richard/Alfyn covers 4 hit Sword, Axe, and Ice.] [Line 2 is Zaanta/Hayes covers 5 hit bow and 1 hit bow nuke while hayes covers 3 hit 4 hit and 2 hit combined Axe/Fire nuke.] [Line 3 is W'ludai/Scarecrow who covers 4 hit spear and bow while having bleed possibility to buffs Hayes 2 hit combo nuke with bleed.] [Last line is Titi/Yunnie who covers farming and debuffing with lightning while Yunnie uses her 3 hit bow and the Call forces ability along with her 2:1 Bow/Fire attack.] WIth this setup you can farm the elites and mats/souls without haveing to make multiple rosters.
Just in case some don't know: Hunts and Ad Caits replenish HP/SP of all travelers. So that's anywhere from 4 to 24 free replenishes in a day: 3 Ad Caits and 1 to 21 hunts completed in the day.
No wonder Mahrez was so hard to beat, these new weapons would have helped a ton! I'm still rocking Origin and the matching armor so this was a huge help understanding the new set

Great explanation! I got 15% on Richard’s Rippling whatever.
While the base weapon has 10% damage to hellfiends by default, The upgraded weapons already have a 20% damage bonus to hellfiends. I am expecting the 10% from the soul will be additive to 30% damage up against hellfiends then.
Adding one more farming technique I use is Therion, Having his hellfire with divine skill nukes everything when paired with lynette and then sp steal whenever u get low, he easily fills his entire sp in one hit!
The Silver Box also contains 2 unique silver souls which have a max of +15 or +16% damage to hell enemies. I've not seen these two souls drop in the wild at all so the only way to get these is to gamble.
I thought this update might make the game less enjoyable for me, but it's the opposite, I am really liking now that weapons are unique to characters because of the rainbow soul system, it helps a lot that you can just farm materials way more easily to craft weapons rather than waiting for elites. Super good update. After watching this vid, I realise how lucky I was with richard's sword. I got 10% on the silver soul, and the rainbow soul boosts his 4 hit by 14%. In the future, will the higher level weapons (61 and beyond) be replacing these hollow weapons which will require us to basically reroll for optimal soul effects again? Or are these weapons the main weapons we will be using until the next big weapon update?

And from what I hear, a little of both.
I believe we will upgrade these weapons higher, but there end up being 6 different varieties of 'limbo/hell base weapons' with different soul slots in each.
From the way they rolled out this series, I believe we are gonna go at a slow pace and get new bits and pieces as we go.

I'm wondering something. Do you happen to know what the "Element Res. Damage Reduced by X%" actually does ? You have these things on a bunch of Silver Souls but it's not very clear what that means.
It sounds like it will be reducing the foes' resistance to said element, but I have a Tome with that for Lightning (5%), I've equiped it to Cyrus, and it doesn't really look to do anything. I've tested his ultimate on enemies both weak to Fire and Lightning (they should take more damage from the Lightning strike then), and I got : 16318 Fire Vs 15718 Lightning, 16194 VS 15854, 15639 VS 16086.
Maybe it was just two low rolls out of 3, but it still feels like it did absolutely no difference.
It's a defensive roll, that makes you take a flat % less damage from that element. Just like the elemental res in your skill board on every character.
Do you know if these soius are the same that will be used in the future Limbo weapons. Or will each set come with its own set of souls?
We get more souls in the future, but I believe these ones will still be used somewhat.
I m sorry for asking this question, i just finished master of all with king pardis 3.. so.. I can't access the soul weapons for now right? A bit confused with guide etc
Soul weapons are in bestower of all, so after you beat master of all, you have bestower of fame, wealth, and power to do, then bestower of all starts:)

i got alot i need to do i am at bestower 2 on power what weapons should i farm when start doing lvl 2 and 3 story
Just run through until you get walled by a boss, and then make some weapon 3s to help you. It's not worth stopping and farming in old patches for full lv 4 weapons. Once you get to BoA1, soul weapons replace everything.
Will you only get Star Soul rolls on units you own?
Nope, you can get any persons soul drop. And use them too, just won't effect anyone else's potencies.

I have 9s accessory giving her 30% lightning damage, Eunice behind her giving her 10% magic damage, Laura giving mdef down to the mobs, add in Bert for his lightning res down on the mobs, and of course a soul fan with an upgrade and damage rolled soul. If you don't have 9s acc, just toss on lightning runes.
