Anxiously awaiting narrow cut attachment for Bosch. Once you implement this feature for the Bosch parallel guide rails I will be purchasing a set.

Another comprehensive demonstration. Is consistent ripping of narrow stock (say splitting a 100mm wide board down the middle) achievable with this guide system?

Looked at this item and this video confirmed my thoughts that the stops could only be placed at the ends of the board you want to cut as apposed to the Festool version. I have the Mafell saw/guide which is great but Festool got the acccessory mounting right.

It does NOT have to be at end of boards.👍

Since the body of the guides is not on the same plane as the bottom of the rail you can't put them in the middle of the piece. The guides will not allow the rail to be flat unless they are on the ends.@@mastercarpenterltd

@@graypistachio4141not really. Apart doing like sink cutouts, your track is always longer than the piece, start and finish. So always space for these either end

No. Mafell uses t-lok tanos, it’s a product for mafell so it’s never going to come in a Bosch box.

Très déçu de ce produit. impossible d'être utilisé pour couper des panneaux. Les guides sont à mettre en bout de plaque pour que les guides soient soutenus. Ce ne sont donc pas du tout la même utilité que les guides parallèles festool. Complètement inutile pour moi du coup.

The issue is the track, not the product. if you feel the Festool track is better, then it probably answers your question for you. We can only work with what we have. and due to the design of the track, we can only work from the underside and the edge.
