Just a note on the style of wrestling AEW tries to do... I trained in the UK at 18, I went on to play a decent level of rugby as an adult and I found wrestling very hard. You realise quickly that to be as good as a Dynamite Kid type you needed to have started when you're about 14 and then give it 10 years of earning little to no money and being cannon fodder for older stronger blokes, even then you're lucky to be anywhere near as good as he was... This is the style AEW guys who have nobody to learn from come in and try and do because likes of Danielson etc are so good at it and it looks TERRIBLE. They have no school or way of teaching these guys to make the work look better for TV, Regal clearly made an excuse to leave because he could see the writing on the wall and the majority of the talent don't want to listen to anyone. What you're left with it a mismanaged s@show ran by a guy who never worked a day in the business until he bought a promotion, and talent who don't want to learn or change. Also, likes of Moxley, Jericho and Edge have regressed massively there. AEW will be lucky to last another 2 years on a major TV network at best.
Yet Tommy Billington is announced as making his debut in AEW tomorrow. You have no idea what you're talking about, just another WWE fan whos an AEW detractor as a result. You made tons of terrible points but the worst one is saying Mox has regressed when the truth is everyone with a brain knows Mox is better than Ambrose ever was. AEW oh my god no storylines really botched matches that’s with CM punk too when he was there . Ughh older wrestlers terrible matches Aew losing about $35 million per year. . They can’t fill up the seats. It’s a mess right now.
Look at the state of WWE meat riders. So threatened by AEW they make vlogs crying about them in the car. You just spoke what most of us are thinking. But the AEW die hards will be butthurt. AEW is still good in limited patches. The limited quality content on AEW is due to ex WWE guys. When you need Edge, Christian, Jericho, Billy Gunn in their 50s on your show, that's an acceptance of defeat. But I loved Christian's patriarch gimmick. WWE sucked more than usual in late 2010s with Vince shoving babyface Roman Reigns down our throats, dog food segment, Ambrose getting injection in the butt, too many shitty finishes on ppv. AEW was a breath of fresh air and it was until 2022ish. I really don't understand what they hoped to accomplish by releasing footage of Punk owning Jack Perry. There must have been backstage fights far more vicious than that. AEW seems to be catered mostly to indie fans who love a spotfest.

I feel at first AEW was really great, it gave a very different product at the time and I honestly enjoyed it but as time went on I think Tony Khan and the AEW roster became very arrogant and cocky and felt no matter what they did it was pure gold. Drama and mismanagement has completely taken over the company. Ratings are abysmal and does anyone even remember the last time dynamite was sold out? WWE has improved significantly meanwhile AEW is just making a mockery of the industry

Pick one, any one, WWE, AAA, NJPW, WCW, Stardom, Lucha Underground, AWA, NWA, GCW, ECW... the one truly good argument I have for Tony Kahn, is that he loves wrestling for the wrestlers. Enough that he put up the money, so that a group of wrestlers could start a new promotion for other wrestlers to get a chance.
I think you need to quit watching pro wrestling sir. You're so jaded by it. Yes, AEW is absolute hot garbage and not should be avoided like the plague, but WWE is HOT right now. It's actually incredible. I've been watching since the 80s and this is up there with the very best.
