His dad is the kind of dad everyone needs. You can think its hopeless all you want but if your kid really wants to do something and theres no changing their mind you are only making them more likely to fail at it if you never get on board. His dad had his moment of alright i dont like it but im on board for 4 years.
Or he was saving money for the next four years, and after that, Max is on his own, regardless.

I feel like aew failed him. I’ve been watching for almost 3 years and his loyalty isn’t paying off. The product is getting worse and relying on him more. It’s burning him out and to the fans it makes him less special. When the fans are getting tired of seeing the most talented guys in the company, something is wrong. Tony has fumbled so many opportunities for great stories. Shame.

I look up and down the rosters in these sub-par promotions and I say this:
Take the top 5 talents from each promotion, put them in a tournament and they wrestle for the Ultimate TRUE TOP DOG of professional wrestling!!

Bigger crowd than AEW
82,000 is not the biggest wrestling events. If I recall, there was a wrestlemania the Pontiac Silverdome in the 80s that was over 100,000 people Mr. MJF who knows all things rustling should know that.
It's all good I rather watch small high school gym,,,,,aew will put out. A better show I don't care if WWE has a million gate way Aew puts on better show
AEW lied about the attendance. Out of the 82K tickets sold, only 71K appeared.
MJF is too good for AEW.

I keep thinking the same thing every time I see him in AEW, he's literally the only thing AEW has going for it at present time. I feel like were going to be seeing a lot more talent going that way in the next few years. There is no denying that WWE is the place to be now that Triple H is steering that ship.

They will neuter his mic skills though. That’s what worries me. But AEW writing has gotten so bad that I would still rather see him in WWE. I have AEW all the support and money I could for four years straight. I just can’t do it anymore. The WCW robocop move with the Leatherface thing was the straw that broke the camels back😂 along with the terrible Wardlow burial following him beating MJF, and complete lack of storytelling.

Its weird to hear he's signed on again with AEW. One would assume if he's being genuine with his story, which I do believe, that his dream would include working for the WWE given so many of the stars he mentioned he watched were of that brand. Maybe its the smart move but given the way AEW is heading, it could be detrimental to his stock. Maybe he should have jumped in 24 when his stock is high to ensure he goes straight in to the main roster and not end up in NXT for 2 or 3 years. He'll end up there, no doubt, and he's young so let's see. WWE is smoking hot right now, I feel this was the time but then again, he'd be jumping into a tank of big fish were as now, really not many big fish in AEW. Time will tell.
I love Busted Open. That said, I recommend putting it on 2x speed because Dave talks way too slow and Bully is even slower. But they are podcasters, they don’t know radio cadence. Luckily there’s an easy fix. 😂
6 yrs ago and STIll the same promo...I was on the hype at first but dude hasn't grown in AEW
He won't grow any further than where he's at right now, by staying in AEW. MJF has hit the ceiling in that company. It should scare Tony Khan that an Indy wrestler who was pretty green still when he signed him, to be able to Max out, (no pun intended there) so quickly in his company, but Tony knows absolutely nothing when it comes to character development, and at some point MJF is going to suffer because of that. You can already see that Tony Khan has no idea how to take MJF to that next level, and seeing how MJF is such a student of the game, he needs to shake Tony Khan's hand, and thank him for the opportunity he gave him, but he needs to go now, and find that next level that's going to make him the biggest star in the wrestling business, in the biggest pond there is, and that's WWE and you know it!

MJF is good, no doubt about it. Now think of how great he could be in a company that's run by someone who knows what the hell they're doing. The bidding war of 2024 shouldn't take him long to decide where he wants to go with his future. MJF wants to someday go down as the best wrestler who ever did this, and to be in that conversation, he's going to have to do it in the WWE, period, full stop! I'm sure Cody can give him some guidance when it comes to making smart career decisions. Imagine getting a really properly done CM Punk/ MJF feud done on the grandest stage of all, WrestleMania!!

Between scalpers, people that changed their minds, people that thought they would go but can’t now for various reasons, the comp’d tickets that weren’t used, etc.

@@captainbatman7613there’s rules and exceptions. The week to week aew shows have very small crowds, less than 5k people. It’s very concerning considering when they first left Jacksonville they were nearly selling out those same arenas. Aew is in trouble but I hope they turn it around.

I keep watching AEW thinking it'll change, maybe back to how it was the first two years, but Tony Khan keeps trying to make it more like the WWE, and Tony isn't smart enough to pull that off by himself. AEW has the roster to be hanging with the WWE neck and neck, but its two steps forward and eight steps back! There was so much about AEW that had me hooked from the beginning, but lately? Not so much. I can't remember the last time I even bothered watching Rampage, Tony has made that show a complete joke now. Look at what Rampage was doing the first year it was on ratings wise, its a far cry from that now, and he only has himself to blame since he makes all the decisions himself! Collision on Saturday nights had a chance to be a solid A1 A2 show along with Dynamite, but he's got that show doing similar ratings as Rampage now. How long will it take, or better yet how many people will he have left watching by the time he actually figures it out?

@@KruelAidManoh that’s called an exception to the rule. Normally heel MJF would cut biting promos and have incredible matches and feuds. With the occasionally silly segment thrown in. Tony khan now has made him the opposite, a predictable unfunny joke that never ends with a rare serious moment.
