- This mandolin is for sale. I make nothing on the deal. The owner is in bad shape and can certainly use the money. It was built in 2005. It is in "like new" condition. It is a very good price for a fine mandolin

This is a sad story. Almost the same thing happen to my brother. He passed away and left his guitars and other instruments to his daughter. She doesn't play. And she refuses to sell them. They are just sitting in a closet. That's not good for them. Good video Jerry. Thanks for sharing and helping the poor lady. I hope someone doesn't take advantage of her. God bless the lady.

You are doing a very nice thing Jerry. This would be a wonderful opportunity for a mandolin player to get a custom built instrument without waiting for it. I hope that someone jumps at the opportunity and remembers that doing the right thing (a price based on the quality and features) by helping the owners recover the value. My thoughts and prayers for the poor fellow in the memory care unit, this is a tough position to be in.

Jerry I am krusty buzzard using my grandson's tablet for a while. If you recall my screen name or not. Sad story that happens all too often. I'm not interested in buying it or any mandolin for that mater I'm actually a guitar player that likes to watch good repair videos. This one touches my heart sadly. It rem8nds me too much of my parents I guess after they got in their later years.the abilities part. Hope all works out well for them as far as selling it for a fair price. FAIR being the key word.
