Kidney stones (causing kidney stone disease, or nephrolithiasis) is a condition involving formation of stones (renal calculi) within the kidneys. These stones can cause a variety of signs and symptoms when they exit the kidneys and enter into the ureters and other parts of the urinary system. In this lesson, we discuss the signs and symptoms of kidney stones, including why each of these signs and symptoms happens.

Doctor prescribed Warstone to me...I ordered it frm Amazon...my 17mm stone was dissolved in 2 months treatment..people said only surgery is the solution but Warstone saved me..

17mm? My stone was 8mm but because I had a smaller than average ureter I had to have it removed surgically.
I have a 10mm and they said surgical is the only way and the surgery sounded like a train wreck set on fire and then blown up

Been dealing with a kidney stone off and on since last week. I initially ended up at the ER with so much pain. It really does come in waves. Tonight was terrible! I'm experiencing an incredible amount of pain, that suits everything that said here in regards to kidney stone passing. Tell me what happens from here please???
Well mine was so bad basically what I had to do is I had to end up going into the ER in October of last year and now that I don't have the stone in there anymore I don't have to deal with that stuff because I just had it surgically removed. And I could tell you it's no fun having it gun. But it had to be done to stop the pain!

I have had kidney stones 3x now, and here are some tips and tricks I learned along the way. A heating pad applied to the painful area does wonders. I now prepare a gallon jug of water and I add like 5 table spoons of apple cider vinegar, I drink a few glasses a day. At first I did not like it, but over time I am now craving it daily. I truly believe it threnses my thirst better than any other drink, even plain water. Anyways, I have never had a kidney stone after I started drinking this. It has been like 5 years. Look up apple cider vinegar benefits, you'll be amazed at all the benefits. Hope it helps somebody dealing with these nasties.

Yes, a heating pad or a if you have a large tub you can sit and soak in with really hot water helps. At least for me anyways.

Did you find it worse at night? My doctor is saying l have back injury, l don't have a back injury l didn't injure my back, it's a dull ache that screams at night and I'm literally in tears in bed at night, doc gave me an anti-inflammatoy injection for what he thinks is back pain. I'm prone to UTIs, but this is an unbearable pain.
Go to emergency. I did it was a kidney stone!

I just passed a 3mm stone. took 3.5 days, Doctor had me on a pain med and Flowmax.. I drank a lot of water and now I drink lemon juice with water, or make lemon water..it helps prevent stones, Citrus is your friend from now on..and water....

Im 38, my appendix burst in 2001, I was stabbed 5x in 2004, NOTHING COMPARES TO KIDNEY STONE PAIN!! I got my 1st one in October 2020 and called a ambulance at 4am thinking I was dying. The pain was so bad I could not tell where it was at, I got a fever, vomiting, sweating, screaming, and feeling like I was being kicked in the groin over & over. It did not matter how I positioned myself, no relief. I passed it, 3.7mm two days later and got my 2nd one today...would not wish on anyone!! Ouch!!!!

@@cattyperri1174 You should be able to pass that. Drink as much as you can and there is a medication called Flomax I heard is a game changer. I have changed my diet and am terrified daily of that feeling returning. I would literally rather have anything else done to me then that

Had one two days ago this pain almost took the soul from my body. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Still in pain tho, had to be rush to the emergency room. Even then help took it's time, so much pain killer took forever to even minimize the pain. This video is so True.

@@sheroffshaikh1031 Been to the ER this Thursday late night, and this evening is the first time I saw blood coming out and stones, I swear it was only going to be one stone but I have piss out so much stones already it’s unbelievable and it’s not at once, every time I go it’s more stones, but seems to be getting less tho, what I can advise you to do is drink alot of water cranberry juice just drink so it flushes out the stone, am starting to feel much better pain wise since I pass stones. I recently started having pain in my lower back and it radiates to my groin. The pain has subsided within the last few days and I went to the doctor yesterday but he wants to wait and see if it’s muscle related. How did your pain start?

My BIL passed one, and it was the scariest thing I've ever seen, I was only 9 when it occured, and my BIL was so low key usually. He was quite literally screaming for God to make it stop, and I'm pretty sure God heard him!! Ambulance came cause we thought he was dying. The pain. He said the pain was excruciating.

For anyone experiencing pain from Calcium Oxalate stones (which are most common type) please get some Chance Piedre (aka Stone Breaker). It helps to smooth off the shard-like crystals so the stone can pass. Works REALLY well. Also try Hydrangea Root for relaxing the urinary tract... I've heard good things about it.

I have been experiencing all these symptoms since I was a teenager. I remember the pain would come and literally break me down and I’d be on the floor rolling and balling up and my grandmother would be so confused. It always came in waves and lasts about 5 minutes very intensely and then starts to wear off and I’d be okay again. It makes me so nauseous. I just got my first one ever. The pain was at max immediately, went to the ER because the pain was so bad.... man. I heard they were bad but I didn't know they were that bad. I threw up 5 times just from the pain... it radiated down to my testicles, made it feel like I was repeatedly getting kicked down there... it wasn't in waves like he said in this video, though. It was just non stop pain.

This was my first one ever as well, I woke up around 9 am. Everything was normal and fine until I felt a slight discomfort around my back and hip on my left side. Didn't think much of it until the pain started to get more intense, then MORE intense. Until next thing I know I'm in excruciating pain while at the same time heavily nauseous from doing something as simple as standing.
So as you could imagine, the ER was the only place to go. Stayed there for at least 5 hours, threw up so much that I started to just dry heave since there was nothing left in me.
But the reason why I'm saying this is to let you know you aren't alone. I was there too along with many other people. I hope it gets better fast for you! You'll be okay man.

36 years old never had a kidney stone until 2 months ago. Dr sent me to ER for gallbladder. CT scan, bloodwork and ultrasound showed no gallstones though sludgy gallbladder…a cyst on my ovary, and a kidney stone. They sent me home with a focus on my gallbladder. Now 2 months later and I have it on my left side. Realization hit me that it’s kidney stones causing this pain, not my gallbladder or the cyst. Flank pain is nonstop, feels like a broken rib jabbing into my organs… the “waves” radiate pain throughout my entire abdomen, chest and collarbone area… full sweat and vomiting at that point. 😩 I had 2 UTIs for the 1st time recently also… which I’m guessing is what started the kidney problems.

The thing was the place I was at just ignored my plea to go to hospital, they wanted to go to bed instead of spare only half an hour getting me there and back again. Wish he talked about ways to help. I was around 12 or 13 when i had kidney stones. Because of my age and the rarity of it, i had to pee in a large red container for them to study. As well as having a cystoscopy. I passed two stones. Horrible pain. What helped a little was drinking cranberry juice. The more concentrated it was the better.
I’m 30, and I went two days ago to the ED and the pain was definitely the worst I’ve ever experienced. No comfort wherever I turned. They finally saw me after 4 excruciating hours and the pain went away. At this point, I had no energy left, needed sleep and was very weak. I do not wish this upon anyone. The stone has not passed as of yet.

Years ago Ive had one, it was the worst pain ive ever experience, as im writing this i think i have another and its painful!
Worst pain in the entire world ive ever felt including breaking my arm. I hope noone ever goes through this but if you do, when I went hospital I was given tablets called co-codamol and they worked insanely good for about 4 hours. IDK if you can get addicted to them, I didnt, helped me so much after the first few days of pain at home, hope it can help you too. Just take it and within half an hour the pain literally disappeared.

I asked the hospital to put me down to get rid of the pain but assisted suicide is illegal in my state. ☹️ I wouldn't wish kidney stones on pedophiles. I'm naturally a very angry, resentful, unforgiving person but not when it comes to this.
Plus, when you are done giving birth you have a baby. When you're done passing a kidney stone you have a little piss rock.

One other ignored symptom is Uric acid build up/gout..if your big toe feels like someone is burning your toe it is a precursor to kidney problems.
I’ve had kidney stones three times and it’s definitely the worst pain ever!!! It’s so unbearable you can’t even walk and no matter how you lay or what position you’re in the pain doesn’t go away! It’s a pain that literally makes you cry and vomit from how intense it is! Would not not wish this on anyone.

Don't worry just visit a doctor have an ultrasound or CT scan you'll get exact location of that stone.. then if it's less than 8 mm (0.8 cm) there's more chance that you'll pass it naturally with the help of lots of water and some medicines...

I had an acute attack a few years ago. An 8mm stone. It's the worst pain I've ever experienced. I got out of my car having left work because I wasn't feeling well and immediately fell to the ground in the fetal position SCREAMING in pain. I'm experiencing a "duller" version of this pain as of late and definitely don't want to go through another accute attack! I wouldn't wish kidney stone pain on my worst enemy. I can't stress this enough to anyone currently suffering from one... DRINK A TON OF Water. You MUST stay hydrated to lessen the pain and increase the chances of passing it.

I have been dealing with kidney stones for over a month now. I’m so weak and fatigued.
I had a bunch of large stones just growing in one kidney but only one passed through the ureter, which was painful enough. Laser surgery removed all the other stones with a stent and catheter, the recovery pain is not something I want to deal with ever again.
I’ve had pain on the left and right lower back side but haven’t had any other symptoms. Nothing off about my urine neither have I experienced nausea dizziness etc. I wonder if this is connected to kidney stones?
I’m 40 & found out I had two stones almost 2 months ago. Haven’t passed them yet & the pain is just unreal! I would have never thought that this pain is this severe! Just recently started urinating blood & I’m hoping that I am nearing the end of passing this…
@ChangeUrmind yes thank you. I had the procedure done where they go up in you with a camera & blast the stones out with a laser. It wasn’t that bad but the stent part wasn’t fun.

I have a kidney stone and doctor did the shock wave to try and break up stone. This procedure was unsuccessful, I went back to doctor in pain only to be told procedure had bruised my kidney. So now, I'm right back where I started.

I am on my 2nd stone 6 years after the 1st. You must get a diagnosis before ANY of this and the reason is in many cases Stones are too big to pass without medical help. If you wait you can kill your Kidney literally! The ER sent me home saying I had a 6mm stone, well it turned out to be a 6x11 oblong shaped stone not passable by men. It got sruck and the Kidney had so much back Urine it was swollen to a Grapefruit in size and my Ureter was about to burst had it burst it could have killed me. Most cases are not like this. I strongly say "See a Urologist!" The stone may show a passable size depending on the angle, but could be larger and a Urologist will know. I was lucky after 2 weeks in emergency condition I called a Urologist I once saw for something else. 20 mins later I was in Emergency Surgery because the ER doctors and radiologists did not check on my Kidney and how swollen the Ureter was. Had they done so they would have seen the Kidney in severe distress. Kidneys do not like any form or back pressure and if not relieved the Kidney will have severe damage of die.

Ive had pain last minutes before relief, yet have also had 4 hours of pain before relief so its some dramatic waves
I believe I MAY have one on the right, it must be small cause the pain came and went. but I also experience pain differently than others. BUT again, I DO NOT know for sure if I have one. My doctor seems to think I might have kidney stones because of the pain I feel in my left side and it causing nausea. So she did a urine test and there were red blood cells in it but my period stopped a day before that urine test so now she wants to wait another 2 weeks to do another urine test. I'm dying of pain over here. The only pain or discomfort I don't feel is the pain or burning while peeing and this seems to be essential from other articles or videos I've seen?
