    Thank you for sharing this information. I have seen the use of "flow skins", but had never thought there was a product to assist like this. Now I am thinking about just making some "skins" with acrylic paints, to cut and use as elements in abstract art. Especially when I have extra mixed paint when I am done with a project, instead of putting it on a random piece of paper, I can have it to add right where I want without the extra paper to deal with. Great inspirational information for me, I appreciate your work.

      Thank you for watching Monica! Acrylic Ground for Pastels is one of my favorite materials for painting - this "skin" is one that I make the most, but the "AGforP" can be applied in thin layers directly on a painting to insert a layer of grit for doing dry media and watermedia techniques like the ones in this video - its translucency will allow you to still see through to your painted layer below, though its gray color will slightly cloud/gray out that layer. As an aside, you can make an acrylic paint skin from just about any acrylic paint so long as it's not too brittle, lots of possibilities there! Happy painting!
