An actually unique way to use crackle paste! So cool
Loved your demo tonight at the Workhouse! I learned lots. I was especially thrilled to find crackle paste in the goodies you sent us home with...that’s been next on my list of things to play with but I can never find it in stores! You made my day!
Great project, perfectly presented. Thank you from a crackle fan.
Thank you Andrea! Crackle Paste is so wonderful, isn't it?? What are your favorite ways to use it?
So glad to find you and sub. I've had a hard time trying to come up with ideas for crackle paste...I love this! Also, I peeked at your video list, you do beautiful art..Can't wait to see more!😊👍
Thank you for watching! Crackle paste is so fun - have you tried scraping it through a stencil yet? It's easy and there is so much potential there with an array of stencil patterns. Another fun idea is to make an "acrylic skin" from it...if you are into using collage elements, this is a great one...let me know and I can give you the basic steps!
Some great tips! Yes please to the steps..I love expiramenting and learning all I can. Thank you!
Check out my acrylic skin video here for the basic concept on making one... for the Crackle skin, you need to reinforce it with another medium since the CP (Crackle Paste) isn't flexible. Spread Golden Gloss Medium or a thin layer of Golden Soft/Regular/Heavy Gel Gloss onto a plastic sheet protector or freezer paper and let dry. Next spread your CP over that layer of clear medium and let that dry. Apply color washes to the CP or paint it however you like and let that dry. Seal the CP with clear medium or gel (likely the same one you used for the base layer). Let dry...when dry, peel the whole piece off of the freezer paper/sheet protector! The whole process takes a few days due to dry times, but yields fun effects that can be used for collage or in a frame as its own art piece!
That sounds amazing and so fun to do! Time for an expirament lol. I'll check out your video. Thank you very much!
Nice
