    I love the cracked textures. I know many of us buy a lot of craft supplies and end up paying a lot to the craft stores.
    I have found an alternative to crackle paste. This technique can be used to make homemade crackle paste.
    This is a tutorial on making your your own craft supplies which will be pocket friendly.
    This diy is going to give you an idea on making your own crackle paste at home in an inexpensive way.
    I loved the cracks that this technique gives to me.
    You can follow this process to make your own crackle textures and your own textured canvas.
    I am sure that is going to make an awesome decorative piece at your home.

    Thanks Jenny!!! This is an actual medium and not a glue and paint which is a crackle effect . This Is what I was looking for!! I can make and add to my paints and get a nice thick texture with acrylics!!

    Thank you for shareing hun.. i do wish i had seen this video before i spent £15 on a 8oz pot of golden crackle paste thats has not even worked its stupid wasted money.. now i got to go get myself some cement 🙈 to make this one you just made😁.. a brilliant tip hun thank you.       Nope.. white cement is cement which is white in color.. I think it sd be available in the hardware stores..

    Good evening I'm French I'm looking for cracked paste so I came across your CZcams but it doesn't work at all (no crackle) it looks like modeled paste I don't understand anything uh did you take cement from the tile joint? Too bad I would have liked that Well I found another method

    Hello, I tried applying this paste on my cement decor products to get cracked effect but the paste didn’t crack at all inspite of using hot hair dryer and also flame to dry it.

      Nope they are not.. still you can try with marble powder and check if they crack..

    HI. great video. homemade is better than buying expensive stuff. one query, can you suggest something else instead of cement to make this paste. And by the way, pls do add more texts (to explain) on the video because i don't hear the audio or speech in the video. it would be helpful. thanks.

      White cement gives the best crackles.. I will add subtitles.. In my newer videos, I have added subtitles.. I am gradually adding subtitles to mu old videos...😊😊

    Hi. Great vid! I made this twice (once with your recipe and once with cement only) and both times I got great cracks but it just flaked off the canvas. Any tips for getting it to stay put? Many thanks, Tom.

      May be you could try some white glue before applying the paste...

    Love you videos! I'm going to make some this weekend. Did you get the white cement at a craft store or a hard ware store? My Lowe's doesn't have what cement just gray. Hobby Lobby has it but it's more expensive.

      @@JennyPennyDIY Well, we made it this last weekend and tried to make a couple of jars, lol.....it was hard the next day. i guess you have to make it as needed. Oh, they were mason jars so should have been air tight...lesson learned. I will try again this weekend. Thanks for all you do!

    I have put it on thick, I have put it on thin but I do not get cracks. 2 TS White cement, 1 TS Acrylic paint, 3/4 TS Cold GLue, 2 TS water. Dried with heat gun but NO CRACKS? What am I doing wrong?

      Hi Anne.. you might have got the best cement.. Honestly, its not just about the materials.. Its about the consistency.. Do check on that..

    Hi Jenny, Because I didn’t have white cement I tried your recipe with Marble dust/powder and it didn’t work for me. Can you suggest anything?

      Marble dust does not crack easily.. you need something fragile..

    Can this crackle paste be applied directly on a bottle . I mean without applying gesso?

      Hi.. on bottle without primer, it will fall out.. If not primer, at least paste some tissue paper that will make the surface rough and will prevent the paste from falling out... also on bottle, you sd try only if your bottle is capable to sustain the heat... else the glass will break.. I would make the cracks first on a paper then Would glue that paper to the bottle😊😊

    Without using hot air gun.. How much time it takes to visible the crackles in it??

      Without hotair gun, it wont give this much visible crackles.. However you can try.. I have not tried that 😊😊

      Heat will produce some more cracks.. Natural drying will also produce crack, but little less..

      Wood it sd work.. However the bottle sd be strong enough to sustain the hot air.. you may first do it on a paper and then paste the entire paper on your bottle...

    Well I tried to make again and it was gritty and didn't crack. It looked and felt like stucco lolol. I noticed your paint was thick and mine was very thin..I used some latex ceiling paint..do you think this made the difference? I will keep trying. Thanks again 😊

      Hi Robin.. You can probably try without the paint may be... I used a wall paint.. Also, dont get a very good quality cement.. Get an average quality cement.. You can also get the cracks with a thick layer of wall primer as well.. Yes .. I love the cracks..

    is crackle medium & crackle paste different??

      Crackle medium makes the cracks in 2D.. You generally need two different colours to make cracks using crackle medium.. crackle paste is the real cracks..     Waste of ingredients and time. Crackles come out but it doesn't stay on the object. It's just a disappointment
