Remove/Replace BMW side mirror glass. 2006 Z4 E85

How to remove the glass from the side mirror of a BMW by rotating the ring behind the glass. This is on a 2006 Z4 e85 chassis. I assume it’s applicable to many other BMWs and makes but I’m not sure.
“Clockwise” and “counter-clockwise” refer to when you are looking at the mirror glass/toward the front of the car.

Thank you. I could not figure out from the manual how the disc held in the mirror and was unaware of the access cover. You video helped me to quickly reattach my mirror without breaking any plastic tabs, which I do all the time.

What size/type screw?

Def a Torx. Probably T20?
