BMW Z4 Side Mirror Glass Replacement

In this video we replace the left side mirror glass on our E85 2008 BMW Z4 3.0Si. Most BMW side glass mirrors are similar, although some lock from the bottom, not the top. This is a great DIY project and takes only ONE tool, a small Torx wrench.

Thanks for posting this DIY job. How did you replace the glass? Did you stick a replacement glass in the original housing?

The glass just clips in place. You can literally stick a replacement glass onto the broken one with some glue, but the proper clip on ones are not that much more expensive.
