Sounds to me like the ballast , or one of the plastic clips broke. Start with removing the mirror like I did and inspect tabs on glass and holder. If it is good then you might need an assembly replacement used ones are cheap. Make sure to subscribe to my CZcams Channel.

Mine doesn't look like this. The glass on my mirrors has a thick plastic border around them
It’s not they all come like that with the line. The line showing the blind spot mirror.

The line that goes across the mirror looks like a defect; this is not an indication that the mirror is heated.

Bruh 70 bucks for an old and already peeling mirror? When you can get the new aftermarket one for 15 usd
Bruh, as I am in NZ it costs $75 for an aftermarket with a blue tint , or this. I bought the whole assembly and removed the mirror glass .
