- Sony is not going all digital with PS5 games. That story going around on the internet is false news. They're slowing down on their recordable Blu-ray disc media not actual PlayStation 5 physical games. Don't let the internet fool you with there false info.

All digital is just a bad idea. Causes problems. I remember losing games I paid for when I had to initialize the PS4. If I pay for a ps5 game it should be physical
@@edrodriguez4822 agreed. Companies just want all digital because it’s cheaper. But these companies goof around for to long everyone will just steal all the roms and these companies can just lose more money lol
For the last 2 years I’ve been a fan of digital games. It’s super convenient and it makes it easier to be lazy. Don’t have to get up and change discs and can switch games quickly. But, with the recent delisting trends and just better value from disc games as far as sale prices and resale, I’m going back to physical.

I bought a PS5 with a disc drive and I used it once for a PS4 game and it made a really loud noise. I didn’t want to embrace digital but I just personally find it’s better now for my needs, I threw most of Xbox 360 boxes in a skip recently. I think boxes should be there for people who want it but honestly digital feels like a natural progression for me.
When everything does turn digital you’ll have to have a 20TB hard drive.
Been grabbing PS4 physical games since PS5 came out..dam near all of them are still more expensive digital download....fuk PS plus crap altogether lol
Yeah physical games are cheaper just look at all the sales on Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and more way cheaper than digital. Physical is the way to go plus you can sell your games and digital you can't. It's a no brainer to buy physical!
@@TwistedGamingTV I had to hard reset my PS5 recently and my crap was saved to cloud with Plus...other than that ain't worth it to me more than Essential
@djj1 yeah I got the bottom tier subscription now it got a little to expensive when I don’t play older games anyways. Just need the subscription for online play lol.

Probably ps6 and new xbox maybe will do away from it. But not this generation.
No Sony already said PS6 will have a disc drive. Xbox probably not though.
